Jordan4life_2007
Wow. Marte had him 0-2. Give Walker credit for battling. Shingo and Marte blew this one. Oh well.

Guest JimH
Blame this whole series on the offense. Willie Harris, for one, has his head so far up his ass he can see the other side. Goddamn, it's Glendon Rusch, no runs in 8 innings? Very poor performances this weekend. We are still tied for first ... that's the only good thing. Jordan4life_2007
This was a horrible series for our offense. I'm glad this interleague s*** is over. We're already without, Maggs. We couldn't play, Frank. Add to that, Harris and Uribe r both sucking ass. But, like somebody said, we're still in 1st.
WHarris1
What a bad day. Frank, PK, MB snubbed. Sox swept by Cubs.

DBAHO
We made Glendon Rusch look like Cy Young out there. Joe Crede blew a huge oppurtunity popping up, with Lee on 3rd with 1 out. That killed us. Shingo was throwing a lot of fastballs, and the Cubs weren't chasing them.

CubsSuck1
This team still has a lot of problems. I am not looking forward to another finish behind the Twins hopefully.

Shows you how important it is for Willie and Uribe to get on base. When they struggle, we struggle to score runs, simple as that.
flippedoutpunk
Silver lining: -Still in 1st -Lame Interleague play is over -2nd half schedule is in our favor - We get our precious DH back and Maggs will come to play soon
DBAHO
I knew Crede was gonna choke. 2-0, good pitch on the upper half of the K zone to hit a fly ball, and he pops out. :headshake
Mathew
These comments would be so different if the Sox won, I didn't see too much into this that suggests the season is over, but hey to each his own.
Guest JimH
2-0, good pitch on the upper half of the K zone to hit a fly ball, and he pops out. :headshake Crede needs a day off. You absolutely must deliver in a pressure situation like that, all he had to do was get a fly ball. The top of the lineup killed the Sox ... Harris struggling, Uribe struggling, this was a mess. Yesterdays game, I don't feel too bad about, the weather was awful but tonite, you give up two runs and lose the game. That is bulls***. A continuing weakness on this team ... a high OBP guy. That's why I think Kendall is a good idea. We absolutely need guys who can consistently get on base, that's how you win.
Brian
A continuing weakness on this team ... a high OBP guy. He was on the bench for 3 games. But Konerko was one of the few hitters that showed up this series.
