Lafayette In US Sunday July 4 Jacquelin Rodriguez Ortiz, 8 yrs., female Hispanic, 4'6", l00 lbs with a scar on the right side of her chin. She was wearing a pink short sleeve shirt, cream-colored Capri pants with flowers and blue sandals. Lafayette Indiana Police Department says Jacqueline Rodriguez Ortiz was abducted by Carlos Alberto Ramirez-Gonzales, who also goes by Carlos A. Cordero, 26 yrs., Hispanic male, 5'5", 130 lbs. Black hair and brown eyes. Suspect vehicle is 1991 Ford Thunderbird, 2 door, Gray in color, unknown Temporary plates. Abducted Indiana Girl Found In Mexico Unable To Return Home Authorities Say Girl Isn't A U.S. Citizen POSTED: 11:17 am CDT July 9, 2004 UPDATED: 11:20 am CDT July 9, 2004 NUEVO LAREDO, Mexico -- An 8-year-old girl abducted in Indiana and rescued just across the Mexican border may not be able to return home because she's not a U.S. citizen. That's what police say after Jacquelin Rodriguez Ortiz was found Tuesday in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico -- just across the Rio Grande from Laredo, Texas. She was in the custody of Carlos Alberto Ramirez Gonzales, who U.S. police say may have abducted her. Ramirez Gonzales is an ex-boyfriend of the girl's mother.
