CWSGuy406
I just saw it (MLB Extra Innings)! Gagne had a two run lead - struck out the first guy, gave up a single to Hillenbrand, Gonzalez doubled, Chad Tracy singled. 5-5 The streak is over! maggsmaggs
The Diamondbacks broke it in the 9th. It was 5-3 and he blew it. Man does he blow, the Dodgers should send him back to AAA
JDsDirtySox
THE MAGIC IS OVER... He is gonna turn into a below average closer now.

Rowand44
The Diamondbacks broke it in the 9th. It was 5-3 and he blew it. Man does he blow, the Dodgers should send him back to AAA Out of all teams the diamondbacks. Wow absolutely unbelievable. Maybe the dodgers will trade him now that the streak is over. BrandoFan
Out of all teams the diamondbacks. Wow absolutely unbelievable. Maybe the dodgers will trade him now that the streak is over. Why is it unbelivable? The 3 teams that beat Pedro at his 1999 best were Florida, Tampa Bay and White Sox - their combined payroll was less than that of the Red Sox. It's unbelievable because the guy had 84 straight saves and his streak gets broken by one of the worst teams in baseball.
greasywheels121
LA Fans give Gange a standing O. Nice. He deserves it; that's going to be the Joe DiMaggio streak for pitchers. I doubt that record is ever broken at any level of baseball. Congrats to Gagne to reaching 84 saves in a row.
knightni
Who's record did he beat? Mike Marshall?
