Right after Church, I went to Deep River because I wanted to forget all about the sweep that took place in Wrigley. So I went there and had a great time. Admission is only worth $14 and Indiana residents get a $2.00 discount. Once you enter the park, you’re free to go. You don’t have to pay for separate rides and the place is very nice. I was shocked to see so many Illinois residents come all the way to Merrillville. In case anyone is interested (I really recommend this place if you have a family) go to the website for more info. I had a season pass the first year it was open and had a blast. I've only been there once this year but am probably going to go a lot more once it gets hotter out. I just moved here so I’m starting to explore many different places and I’m liking it. Cool. You will like "Da Region" a lot. It is close to Chicago, but isn't too busy. It is really growing in the last decade. We built a house in the country on the outskirts of Valpo and new houses and businesses are taking over.
