Shoeneweis need to shut up

Tonight he pitched horrible and he did not show that he was worthy of being a starter in our rotation. IF he can turn it around, then I'd gladly welcome him to pitch, but he really shouldn't talk about pitching for other teams and demading a starters role. He was GIVEN the job before spring training, and he lived up to it for a while, but as of late, I'd almost like to have seen Rauch or Diaz or even Munoz given another chance. No run support for him tonight, but we can't explode every night either.

i didnt see him pitch tonight so i cant comment than stating the obvious..in a 12-0 loss he couldnt have been too good

but please everyone remember it was our pitching coach who first went to the press with this topic about shoey being removed from the rotation...shoey was just answering a reporters question when he was asked about what cooper stated in the papers....its not like he went to the press and mouthed off first..

but im guessing its off to the pen for shoey...with the way cotts has pitched lately shoey might be more valuable to the team there anyways

I agree...

Diaz needs to just be given the job and given time to work things out.

Show's luck has run out and he needs to either be sent down {and hope someone claims his stubborn ass off of waviers} or sent to the pen.

Either way I don't want to see any more of Show.

I honestly don't believe he was ever hurt...

I think that the Organization didn't want to be embarassed and wanted to have an excuse for losing to the Cubs at home. It was only a bonus that Diaz pitched a solid game and Zambrano was rocked.

Now he's back and getting another chance and the fact remains he has just lost it....

All I am trying to say is that you need to be serious hot s*** to start making demands on your playing time and role. You are getting paid, so you do what you are told. I know Aneheim has an AMAZING offense, but this is not based on just one start. A couple great months of pitching may have gotten up to Shoe, and I am not sure if he is capable of pitching so manny innings.
