Gene Honda Civic
How come we call Garland "Judy", but Loaiza and Gacia escape the same treatment when they do the same thing?
Yoda
How I wish Bartolo were pitching for the Angels this afternoon :headshake

EvilJester99
Loaiza shouldn't escape without a beating. He is going back to his old self. If they continue to pitch this way the Sox are dead.

thomsonmi
Are these guys ever going to win again?! When we play this crappy for extended periods, you have to start hoping that KW is more careful about ransoming our future. In times like these, its hard to believe that the future is now. Yoda
Though Loaiza has had his problems this year, does anyone believe that Olivo's absence may be an even bigger effect on Esteban? Maybe Burke doesn't give the signs that are needed and that's when the Sox get in trouble.
HuskyCaucasian
Maybe Dan Berstein was right. It might be time to look at blowing this thing up and planning for the future. THis team is dead in the water.

SAVVY18
It's not even the all star break yet...Slow down everyone. We still have 31 games against Detroit and KC left. Not to mention 9 more against the twinkies.
EvilJester99
Take it easy people...man I am down about this team right now but the Sox are playing one of the better teams in the league. The 2nd half will be better. The Sox have to feast on the Lions and KC and Indians, while the Twins fight the Yanks, Boston and the likes of them. IlliniKrush
Loaiza's pitching like a real all star today... And we already scored our designated 2 runs/game

Only difference now is that we're not scoring any runs.

If we can't be competitive against good teams, making the playoffs because our division sucks and then being immediately eliminated isn't my idea of progress. We are in a slump, which happens during the course of a year. Our history though gives us some excuse to be pessimistic.

Yea, you are preaching to the Chior, but this team show NO signs of the light at the end of the tunnel. THey continue to wallow in mediocrity.
