but you are more beautiful than ever. ;)

LOL!

Actually I was thinking about how a few months after my grampa was born was the last time the Sox won a world series. Yeah, he saw them lose one, but that is as close as he got. He died 7/5/93. Just very depressing as he was a diehard Sox fan.

I am so sick of this team giving the 'plan for the future.'  When will this future get here? I ain't getting any younger!  :D

Somebody has to give me some real hardcore examples of when this franchise has actually patiently built for the future. I've been a fan of the Sox since Bill Veeck was in charge and our idea of building for the future is a white flag trade here and there. Over the last 30 years there has never been a TRUE committment to building from within. We have been the central player for 30 years in the whole concept of a rent-a-player.

While I agree that the Sox have to be able to beat the big boys, they have been scuffling of late and that doesn't mean they can't beat these teams. The Sox need to get to hitting and they are too good of an offense to not get it back. Maybe Maggs can lit a fire maybe not who knows. I think its way too early to panic though.

sad thing is..aaron sele is missing his spots bad...mostly over the heart of the plate...and outside of carlos's homer we havent done squat...its not like is pitching like washburn did last night...a month ago we would have had sele in the showers in the 2nd inning

I'm trying to be optimistic. I appreciate you attempting to lift our spirits.

2000 team would have had him in the showers with 1 out in the 1st.

I do like that Crede and Rowand and Kong are trying to all-field the ball...for once.

Sele might not stay in the game for long, but unfortunately Cy Loaiza has put the struggling Sox hitters in yet another hole.

I swear for a minute I thought you were talking about the Blackhawks
