knightni
1. The Natural 2. Field of Dreams 3. A League of Their Own 4. 61* 5. 8 Men Out 6. Bingo Long's Travelling All-Stars and Motor Kings 7. Mr Baseball 8. Major League 9. Bull Durham I wonder how Mr 3,000 will do? Bernie Mack is coming out with a baseball movie soon. It is about a guy who retired with 3,000 hits. But, finds out a few years later that due to a stats error he has less than 3,000 , so he has to get back into the league again to get his 3,000th hit. dasox24
The Natural, which was on ESPN tonight, is a great movie, as are the Major League movies. Sandlot is pretty good too. I was on a Sandlot fix back in April when I watched it like 3 times in a week. The first time was on a road trip w/ my lacrosse team, but the other 2 times were just 'cause I wanted to. Rowand44
One of the most stupid ones was The Scout. Yeah right Brandan Fraser is gonna throw the nine innings on 90 pitches and K 27 That movie Sucked It's 81 pitches but who's counting. That is a pretty dumb movie, my favorite line in that movie is when one of the announcers are talking, he says something like if he(forgot brendan's characters name) pitches a perfect game like everyone expects him to. Anyways getting to good movies, I love field of dreams and eight men out is also very good.

mreye
The Monty Stratton Story Long Gone Field of Dreams A little trivia about Field of Dreams: The scene where Costner meets the old Doc (Moonlight Graham) were shot in historic downtown Galena, Illiniois. Durnig filming breaks in Dyersville, Iowa, Costner would go to Galena to golf and loved the downtown area and told the director he wanted to use it in the movie. I've been there. It's absolutely beautiful! U.S. Grant was from there and his tomb is also there.
