maybe Rogo will finall y get promoted

I sure as heck hope he'd be the one that would get promoted. He's more than deserving for a promotion to B-ham. Only problem is that there are people in front of him (Becker and Sasser). Well, imo, screw Sasser, let Becker DH full time, and let Rogo play 1B.

Other notes from today's games:

It's good to see Ulucia continue to pitch very well even after missing a couple of scheduled starts b/c of his suspension. Also, Haigwood had a very good game. I love to see him do well b/c I think him and B-Mac would have both been having awesome year at Kanny and would have been called up to W-S if Haigwood had not torn his ACL at the beginning of last year, which set him back. And, it's nice to see Sweeney get a couple of hits and a HR, and Fields have a 3-run shot, although I'm not liking the 3 k's. Lastly, Pollok got another save w/ a 1-2-3 inning, which I like to see because right now, he's my favorite closer prospect that we have.

Bristol won 12-10. Evan (:D ) Tartaglia was 4-4 w/ a triple, 4 rbi, and a stolen base. De Los Santos was 3-5 w/ 2 rbi. Allen was 0-4 w/ a rbi and 3 k's. Novoa got roughed up for 5 ER in 2 IP. He had 4 BB's and hit a player. Bristol Box

Great Falls won 5-0. Ricks was 2-4 w/ a double. Kelly was 1-1 w/ a solo HR. Collaro was 1-4 w/ a HR and 2 rbi. Gery Bakker got the win giving up 0 runs in 5 IP. He also had 5 k's. Russel and Nachreiner both pitched 2 innings of scoreless relief. Nachreiner has been pitchng very well lately after a bad start at the beginning of the year. I think he's gonna be very good as long as his knees hold up. (DBAH0, i know you like hearing this b/c your sleeper prospect is having a very good year  )Great Falls Box

Charlotte won 6-5 in 12 innings. Valdez had another good night from the leadoff spot going 2-5 w/ a triple, 1 rbi, and a stolen base. Nelson was 2-3 w/ 2 rbi and 2 BB's. Reggie Taylor was 2-5 w/ a double and a solo HR. Tetsu Yofu went 7 strong innings, giving up 3 runs. Majewski got the win giving up 1 run in the last 3 innings. Charlotte Box

Wow - Nelson for Chattanooga seems like he's going to be one hell of a pitcher.  IIRC Chattanooga is of the Atlanta system or am I wrong?

I believe he was traded along with Jung Bong for Chris Reitsma earlier this year. I think he really struggled at AAA, and was demoted back to AA.

He's been pitching very well lately in relief, was a little rocky early but he's settled down nicely. Let's hope he can continue this for the rest of the season. :)

Boy, you have to be rooting for Evan Tartiglia he's like the anti-typical Sox player.  He's small, he's fast, he's a lefty...  There's not a lot of prospects like him in the organization.

I felt the same way when I looked up some info on him for FS on the draft. He is a little old to be in Bristol though.
