clujer420
Since Frank, Mags, and Paulie (and others, of course) did not make the trip, what are they doing while this game is being played? Are they working out with BP, defensive drills, etc? They don't get an off-day I hope (I doubt they do). Anyone know?
clujer420
If those chicks take their tops off (and get rid of the one with the kid...UGH), I'll buy a raffle ticket. If they play their cards right, I may buy 2.
method
I am sure they each put in thier time in the cages. And a few defensive drills. They might also hit the weight room for a short time...
baggio202
garland is looking sharp..his curve looks better this year in the desert then it did in chicago last year...lee looks like the carlos of old..runner on 1st and he pulls an outside pitch to SS for a DP...please jerry dont bat him 2nd...crede looking good...donger and about 3 nice plays at 3rd..daubach made a nice stretch to save joe an error on one...jose and d'angelo looked in mid season form on that last dp...overall looking real good
clujer420
garland is looking sharp..his curve looks better this year in the desert then it did in chicago last year The biggest thing to me is that there was only 1 ball hit out of the infield (a lazy flyout to left), which shows that he's doing what he wants to do. The sinker's working, and that's a good sign. His performance this season is one of the biggest keys for our success (or failure )
clujer420
Ugh...the Cub pitcher just threw a big curve to Miguel, and he looked like Henry Rowengartner in Rookie of the Year (if you haven't seen that movie, it's very funny). Not a good at-bat at all. Hope that wasn't typical.
clujer420
WTF? Chip just said "The question is whether or not the Cubs are going to be able to score 3 or 4 runs a game." Does he think the Cub staff is going to post a team ERA of 1.00? NO team is going to win with a 3 or 4 run per game average. Hell, it would be hard to play .500 ball with that production, let alone contend for a playoff spot.
WhiteSoxPride3035
I've been watching the game and not on here, so I am expressing my consent right now: Crede anb Jiminez got all of those balls Zambrano chucked to them. Garland did a great job on the mound today. As we speak, the Scrubs just got a sac fly, 2-1 Sox. Sox have been playing well and it all looks good going into the glorious March 31, 2003 day against the Royals. GO SOX !!!!
IlliniKrush
Josh Stewart has looked decent, i want to see more of him obviously

Does anyone else really like this nunez kid??? he got a nice arm. Maybe he's a 2b/SS solution in the post Jose era.
MurcieOne
This Angel Guzman kid is good...... Dubach finally got a hit off him.

method
because we could...hell daubber will be one of the guys the union uses as an example of colusion when the sue the Daubach is one of the players that crossed the line in 1994, hes not part of the players union, so i doubt he'd be used as an example of colusion. From everything i have read, its not the PU thats crying colusion, its a few agents that are raising hell over it, trying to get the MLBPA to look into it. They have NO case. baggio202
i wouldnt say they have no case..i didnt think they had a case in 94 and they won...with the courts today..never say never damaso looking good...real good...i see him as our future closer...i think he could be better than koch...just needs a chance...wont be this year but he will closing somewhere soon
MurcieOne
Beck looked like Moyer out there.........flinging garbage all over. cwsox
I'm less than thrilled that Daubach crossed the line.
cwsox
is it possible for these scrub announcers to on occasion mention the name of the Sox fielders? And Porzio is off my invite list for Thanksgiving for that error
baggio202
is it possible for these scrub announcers to on occasion mention the name of the Sox fielders? And Porzio is off my invite list for Thanksgiving for that error recipe for a loser tie game..walk the lead off man...then field a bunt and throw into CF...2 batters.. the ball travels a total of 40 feet and 2 guys are on base....bye bye porzio... cwsox
and for that pitch. I am reminded why I never liked Porzio.
MurcieOne
Porzio is a f***ing tard. I dont think he gonna make the team......but White looked s***ty to. I guess we'll go with the old excuse that it's only spring training.

I guess we'll go with the old excuse that it's only spring training. Porzio's got an uphill battle to make the team to begin with. We're either going to have 6 or 7 relievers, and his problem is that he's not a power guy and he's not considered the "left-handed specialist" that Wunsch is. His only hope would be to be our long-reliever/spot starter, but I think Gary Glover is the leading candidate for that role. Porzio needs the other lefties like Wunsch and the youngies to struggle in order to make the squad, and so far it's not happening.
baggio202
and wtf was willie harris doing???....he catches the ball over his left shoulder taking a step backwards???....you go deeper than that ball and catch it comming forward so your momentium is carrying you towards home plate...granted even if did that he doesnt get the runner but you still have to try...you never know..the guy might stuble a little or something and a perfect throw could get him...its the never say die attitude id be looking at if im jerry manuel in alot of these guys...willie needs to hang out with aaron miles more
