whitesox247
Just thought we should predict the winner of the divisions and the playoffs. After the season is over, we could check out who was closest. Try to be as "unbiased" as possible. Heres mine: AL EAST New York Boston Toronto Baltimore Tampa Bay AL CENTRAL Chicago Minnesota Cleveland Kansas City Detroit AL WEST Oakland Seattle Anaheim Texas AL WILDCARD Boston NL EAST Philadelphia Atlanta Montreal New York Florida NL CENTRAL Houston St. Louis Pittsburgh Chicago Cincinnati Milwaukee NL WEST Arizona Los Angeles San Francisco San Diego Colorado NL WILDCARD Atlanta AL PLAYOFFS Chicago over Boston Oakland over NY Oakland over Chicago NL PLAYOFFS Houston over Atlanta Arizona over Philadelphia Houston over Arizona WORLD SERIES Oakland over Houston MVPs NL: Lance Berkman AL: Tim Hudson

clujer420
Whoops, switch Mets and Marlins. Heh...still disagree. I think the Mets are going to make the playoffs. They definitely have the talent -- they just need to play like they're capable of.

I usually tend to get lucky with gut feelings (Kent State last year), so thats what I did.

Bighurt52235
I wonder how come everyone thinks that the Padres will finish ahead of the Rockies. Their offense sucked ass, and now they won't have their best hitter for the entire season. Anyways, even thought they haven't won in a coulple years, I still think the Yankees are the team to beat. They're not going to have their best pitcher (Trevor) either. I don't see them doing anything -- possibly 95 losses. I don't think there is a true team to beat in 2003. You could say the Yankees -- but that's based on their payroll and the fact that they are usually in the running for the WS. '03 could be the most wide-open season in a long while. whitesox247
'03 could be the most wide-open season in a long while. I agree, this year we definitely might see some new faces in the WS. Hopefully the Sox

witesoxfan
Boston, Chicago, Oakland and Anaheim will make the playoffs out of the AL(with the good guys winning the division by atleast 10 games) Philly, St. Louis, Arizona and Atlanta make it in the NL(with Philly ending Atlanta's streak) In the end....Oakland wins it....but I'd love to see us win it all. That would be sweet as hell. We can do it...but I don't think we will. Either way....Philly loses the World Series both times.
whitesox247
Wow, everyone says that the Sox are division winners. I think we're being a little biased, but it's definately realistic enough.

No we're not....the Twins just aren't a better team than us. The better team wins the division atleast 95% of the time...and probably more than that even.
