HELL NO...

Rowand and Garland are NOT prospects, they are solid everyday players...

There is no way you give away two YOUNG everyday players and some prospects for someone who will be here 1 maybe 2 years...

That is the dumbest thing ive seen, if we trade them Garland and Rowand and some prospects... We dont need RJ that bad...

I am fine with seeing Buehrle, Garcia, and Garland in the playoffs...

We dont need RJ, we need another bat now...

Ide trade prospects to get a bat... I like our pitching... and I really dont want to get rid of Garland and Rowand

Let me get this right....

Trade an everyday outfielder who will hit you around .280 if not better

Trade an average pitcher who would be a good #4, potential to be #2

Trade a prospect or 2

for

an aging pitcher who will only be around for another year

hmmmmm.............................

NO!!!!!

I think the Yankees will increase their offer to Bubba Crosby, Gabe White and 30 million and land the Unit.

Bubba Crosby and Gabe white + cash for Johnson and they want Rowand and Garland from us? That is highway robbery.

Bubba Crosby = Timo Perez

Gabe White (PS: he is on the Reds) = Mike Jackson

Cash = 2 prospects.

Perez, Jackson, and 2 prospects for Johnson, i'd do that

Ya, it's kinda hard for the Yankees to trade Gabe White to Arizona when he's not even on the team, he's in Cincy.

And yes, you are correct, but it was a JOKE, as annointed by the 30 million dollar comment, which would be disallowed by MLB because it would be too large of a cash transaction.

I do think it is hilarious how all of that 1917 talk disappeared once real players got talked about. :P

This isn't a surprise folks.  You don't trade the big Unit for spare change and used gum.

Yeah that is true...

BUt Garland and Rowand?.. Ill pass on that one...

We dont need the Unit that bad, we need a bat more than we need a pitcher

I really don't think we need a bat that badly...

Ordonez...Check.

Lee...Check.

Konerko...Check.

I'd put that 3-4-5 right with anyone, especially with the year Paul is having.

That is enough power and RBI capabilities right there.

And if we do get a bat, it needs to be a "grinder" who can get on base and take a walk.

If we can get runners on, those guys will give us enough production (paging Uribe and Harris to get on base) We are just in panic cause we don't play well out West. Once we get back to the Cell, things will start rolling again.

We still got a few games out west though, we have 11 more games on the west coast left on the schedule, with most of the games being played in texas.

2 vs Oakland

6 vs Texas

3 vs Anaheim
