DABearSoX
Ready to bring up more talented young players from the minors, the Devil Rays on Saturday designated veteran Fred McGriff for assignment. The Rays now have 10 days to trade, release or ask waivers on McGriff. would the crime dog be a possiblility? i know his AVG is really down this year but he could break out in the DH spot....just a thought....i personally would rather have everett back, but this is also another possiblity
HuskyCaucasian
Give me John Olerud
The Beast
All of the people mentioned make me sick. Carl Everett is the bit respectable.
winninguglyin83
McGriff was out of gas two years ago. Pass.
winninguglyin83
Amen. McGriff and Olerud are both finished. Why not bring back Dan Pasqua and Lance Johnson why we're at it?
JoshPR
Really !
witesoxfan
Amen. McGriff and Olerud are both finished. Why not bring back Dan Pasqua and Lance Johnson why we're at it? Those two could really break out if they came here!
Old Socks
Why does everyone who gets realased sound good to come here??? He just got relased by Tampa, but if he came here, he could break out? Gimmie a break, guys get relased for a reason. Tony, fortunately they are not general managers. Tampa did a favor to Crime Dog to give him a chance, but he has not hit, period. Any discussion of bringing him to the Sox is nonsense.
DABearSoX
....i personally would rather have everett back, but this is also another possiblity whoa whoa whoa, i was just posting this cause i read it today....we need someone might as well weigh all the possiblities
SoxFanForever
This should NOT be a possibility.
Chisoxfn
I'd take Olerud over Crime Dog. Still, I'd prefer Everett out of the bunch.
ManSooLee
If we get Crime Dog it could fill the seats up cuz hes close to 500 hr's.
SoxFanForever
If we get Crime Dog it could fill the seats up cuz hes close to 500 hr's. I wouldn't count on it. Did you seem him for Tampa this year? Talk about washed up, nobody wants to see that.
AngelasDaddy0427
While we're at it why don't we just bail Jose Canseco out of jail. Seriously Everett wouldn't be that bad as long as he passes a physical and has no problems about being a DH.
