WSoxShuf
It's about f***in time. I hate the A's and their wacky and scary fans.
BuehrleTheAce
Woo hoo, a win on the Left Coast and a masterful pitching performance by Garcia, Marte, and Shingo! Great job Sox!
MinnesotaSoxFan
:puke That was ugly but a win was a win!
Loaiza21
Save goes to the nearly beheaded Shingo Takatsu!
ChiSox_Sonix
We won, which is great, but our hitting is still in the s***s. Only 6 hits and once again we won only because the Home Run ball bailed us out
Rowand44
I disagree. Fred pitched SOLID, and we put up a solid 5 spot on the board. Not very ugly. BTW, Shingo, once again, THE MAN. Defense was awful but Freddy was awesome. Can we demote shingo, what the hell is he doing he gave up a hit.
knightni
Borchard looks more comfortable batting from the left side than he does from the right. If it weren't for some nice plays by Kotsay in center, he might have 3 hits today instead of one. Uribe is looking mighty brutal, and so is Crede unfortunately. Gene Honda Civic
Borchard looks more comfortable batting from the left side than he does from the right. I don't have his minor league splits from this year, but I know they were something like this.. RH - about 290... 4 HR's LH - about 260... 12HR's
EvilJester99
They were saying Borchard hits a lot better from the left side but has faced so many lefties of late he hasn't had a chance to hit left handed.
SoxFanForever
FINALLY!!!! Amen, this had to change some time, thank god it was today.
Yoda
Every White Sox pitcher stepped up and did fabulous. The final out was ugly. Shingo could have found himself in the DL if it weren’t for his glove, but he earned his 6th save. Shingo Time is here to stay!
Chisoxfn
At the left side of the plate Borchard can hit, from the right side, its not very pretty.
knightni
Maybe they should do a "Valentin" and have him just bat left handed the rest of the season. They DO need another lefty in the batting lineup.
SnB
Didn't get to see the game today, glad to see the outcome though
AngelasDaddy0427
Just looking forward to seeing if we can come back and split this series. That would be huge for us right now.
greasywheels121
Ah I love coming home to these. Nice job Sox! It looked like a solid line by Freddy today too. Let's go out and get another tomorrow Sox!
qwerty
If they split this series it would be just like we won any normal series, imo.
sox-r-us
With Mulder pitching, I wil be happy if we do not give up a no hitter tomorrow
