Yeah - he can't pitch worth a damn, but let's get him back because he has cool sideburns... rolleyeyes.gif I'm not very familiar with the Expo bullpen. Anyone of interest there? ManSooLee
Just heard again on the radio who would KW go for after CArl and how old is Carl?
Guest JimH
What would kick ass if we get Biddle back! He had the sweetest sideburns back in the day. Talk about a guy who is always hurt, yikes. Biddle has been horrible this year, and really faded the last 1/2 of last year too. Great guy, but he's been brutal and lots of discussions out there that his shoulder is bothering him. Biddle is not a guy I want, just .02 on that one.
SnB
Everett pulled from the lineup... guess this is pretty much done.
MinnesotaSoxFan
On Baseball tonight this morning they said the thing about Carl Everett and his moving today!
CWSGuy406
One of the pitchers that may be coming back to the Sox are Luis Ayala or TJ Tucker. Both have sub-4 ERAs, and Ayala is under 3. I don't have the ground-ball/fly-ball stats, but isn't Montreal more of a pitchers park? I could be wrong; I mean, it is a dome, but I'm not very smart with the dome/outdoor park dynamics... ManSooLee
I honestly think Jon Rausch will be good i would never give up a 6-11 pitcher for carl everett!
whitesoxin'
I am actually a fan of Carl. I would be thrilled to see him back in black. It sounds like this is a done deal.

greasywheels121
unless he got pulled cuz of another injury I have the Braves-Expos game on TBS; I want to see if they say anything.
The Beast
Rauch will never live up to expectations. When he moves into that new ballpark in Puerto Rico next year, he will be screwed. This is an excellent trade on the White Sox part.
whitesoxin'
I have the Braves-Expos game on TBS; I want to see if they say anything. I guess I'll do that now too. I didn't realize they were playing the Braves.
SnB
Braves announcers just said he was pulled because of the trade.
whitesoxin'
Yep, its a done deal. TBS announced it now. But they said they'd "been hearing" so it must be true.
greasywheels121
The Braves announcers just confirmed it. They said Everett was scratched because he's being dealt to the Chisox for a couple of prospects. Welcome back Carl!
ChiSox_Sonix
Braves announcers just said they heard the reason Everett was pulled was b/c he was going to be dealt to the White Sox
whitesoxin'
Awesome! We really needed a lefty bat like him to step in for Frank! Thank you KW!
southsider2k5
Rauch will never live up to expectations. When he moves into that new ballpark in Puerto Rico next year, he will be screwed. This is an excellent trade on the White Sox part. The Expos aren't going to play any games in PR next year. Selig already announced that. whitesoxin'
Any bullpen help coming too? I don't know. There hasn't been an official release. I guess we'll have to wait and see if there's any bullpen help.
SnB
Unless we really give up 2 stud prospects, I'll be happy with this trade. Welcome back carl
