Guest JimH
After Robbie who we going to go after.... Scott Sullivan. I think Robbie is a definite possibility I guess I wouldn't mind him back here as a back up but we'd have to give very little up. As a matter of fact, Scott Sullivan is a guy that Bruce Levine keeps mentioning as a possibility for the White Sox. That wouldn't surprise me either, although I must say he did not impress me in pressure situations last year.
upnorthsox
Does anyone think Robbie Alomar will be the next acquisition? I'm not knocking or advocating such a move, I just wonder if he's next. Despite the contract screw up, KW has had high words of praise for Alomar. The Yankees appear to be very happy with their two guys at 2B and it doesn't look like they're interested. I would not rule it out. Robbie would've been better than Carl and we could've gotten him for a hell of alot less.
WHarris1
i Will the Sox still look for another bat? Why not, they sure didn't get one today. They did however waste trade material and salary space for next yr. Awesome, let's say Carl sucks when he hasn't even played a damn game for us! Sucky aquisition last year, sucky this year too. rolleyeyes.gif

I guess we can't trade for Shoney though.

ManSooLee
I think they for sure need another bat such as Beltran even though we would only resign one of them.
Kalapse
I think everyone knows that that is Jason Kendall...you've only told us in almost every one of your posts. We definately need some more RP help...a swing man type guy wouldn't hurt(spot starter, middle reliever, setup...ala Jim Brower or Sean Lowe). And if we can get another big LH power hitter(mainly Carlos Beltran, but Carlos Delgado could work too) that would be nice as well. And of course if we can get Unit, do it by all means. I said it in two posts answering two different questions about it. And not everybody knows who it is other wise they wouldn't ask who the guy was on my avater. CWSGuy406
That was last yr, this is this yr. ok and what has he done so wrong this year? Got injured? And if you want to talk to me about his stats, I'll just throw 127 ABs right back at you - which, in case you don't know, is too small a sample size to take anything from it. Really, you have no argument. You're biased against KW, and he could trade for Barry Bonds and you'd hate it.
chisoxfan79
what gets me is that if det is out of the race, they will not dump salary except for maybe urbina. , but what is your take brandon inge the backup catcher for det??? Third best throwing catcher in baseball behind Pudge and Olivo.
CWSOX45
No in for Detroit is going anywhere guys. Detroit is only 4 games back after tonight. If I am Dombrowski I'm looking to get another guy or two and make a run at this thing. Seriously how could you not be positive about your chances if you're a Detroit fan? Minnesota and the Sox look like crap, and the Tigers played a pretty solid series against the Yanks. These 19 games with Detroit won't be easy. AngelasDaddy0427
If the Tigers somehow won the central division that would be one of the greatest turn around stories in history. I wonder who would play Greg Norton in the movie. I hope it doesn't happen though .
