kapkomet
I dunno if I am going to get there in time for BP. Plus tonight is cheap seat night, tomorrow isn't. So tomorrow is a better bet. A lot of times in July, too, teams don't take BP cause it's too hot, but the way the Sox have been hitting lately, they need BP.

kapkomet
I was cracking up this morning - the little kid that they caught on tape throwing the ball back in Houston yesterday. Heck, sign him up, he ended up throwing it from the left field bleachers to third base just about and he wasn't older then about 13. I see $$$ in his future as a left fielder for the Cubs... Heck if he can throw from the Crawford boxes to 3B he has a WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better arm than our LF
kapkomet
Well, it wasn't in the air, but it did make it to the infield, just like our LF today...

Wise Master Buehrle
Here's the lineup today, Maggs back in right field: Harris 2b Valentin ss Maggs rf Lee lf Everett dh Konerko 1b Rowand cf Crede 3b Alomar c Rowand and Jose should switch spots. Jose is no number 2 hitter. More like 6 or 7. Number 2 hitter should be carrying a decent average. Jose does not.

Jose does not. Good point. Now we have R/R/R/R, at the 6, 7, 8, 9 spots in the order. Plus Rowand has been on a tear lately, and he's a very good fastball hitter, so put him in the two hole. Oh well, good to see Harris at 2B. And welcome back, Hot Carl! (Sorry Steff for stealing your adjective.)

valponick
I know that Maggs got thrown out on that play but his knee looked great, just a side note. Carlos goes deep. 2-0 Sox.
