We need more people to start reading this forum and these game threads were a way to get people to b/c they could look at one page to see how all our minor league teams and players did. Charlotte won 2-1 in 12 innings. Wilson Valdez was 2-5. Nelson was 2-4 w/ an rbi. Josh Stewart had a very good start. He allowed 1 run (earned) in 7.2 IP, while striking out 7 and walking 0. Santiago pitched 2.1 scoreless innings of relief, and Sanders got the win, pitching the last 2 innings. Birmingham lost 4-2. Spidale was 2-4 with 2 doubles. Anderson was 2-3 with a rbi and a walk. Andy Gonzalez was 1-3. Meaux got the loss after giving up 4 ER in 7 IP. Winston-Salem lost 10-9. Brice was 3-5, with a stolen base, from the 2 spot. Fields was 2-5 and scored 2 runs. Sweeney was 2-4 with a rbi and a BB. Carlos Lee was 2-4 with 4 rbi. Lumsden did poorly in relief, giving up 3 ER in 1.2 IP, raising his ERA to 6.60. Maybe W-S was a little too high of a place to start for Tyler 'cause he's not doing well at all. Kanny won 6-3. Schnur extended his hit streak to 16 games, going 3-5 with a double on the night. Nanita was 2-5, as was Gray. Brian Miller got the start and the no decision, giving up 0 runs in 5 IP. Frasier Dizard pitched a scoreless inning of relief. Fabio Castro got the win, pitching a scoreless 10th innings. Bristol lost 6-5. Jose De Los Santos was 2-5 with an rbi. Javier Castillo was 2-4 with an rbi and a BB. Jay Marshall had a pretty good start. He got the no decision after allowing 1 run in 5 IP, while striking out 7 and walking none. Great Falls lost.
