MnSoxFan
Flores does not have it tonight, Schnur no hits. Nanita with a double and 2 walks and Deininger with 3 solid innings are hilites for Kanny. http://milb.sportsnetwork.com/merge/tsnfor...px?GAMEID=12111
Rex Hudler
Bajenaru with a save in his first AAA outing, tossing an empty frame..... Bullard pitches real well out of the pen after LaMura faltered, Barons win 11-4. Nice night from the missing soxtalkers.........

ChiSox_Sonix
Rex do you think Baj will be called up in September? If Jackson continues to struggle, i'm sure we'll see at least 1 or 2 guys from Charlotte in September. Baj and Santiago seem like good candidates

Gene Honda Civic
Rex do you think Baj will be called up in September? As said in another thread, he'll have to be put on the 40-man roster first... And then if we are in contention, I can't really see them handing him the ball in a key situation... If he's up, it's as a reward for the good season in the minors, and to face some real major leaguers in mop-up duty.
Rex Hudler
Rex do you think Baj will be called up in September? Just depends on how they do their callups. If they are in a pennant race, which they should be, then they will likely call up only a few. I think Baj only gets called up if they think he can help the club. If Jackson continues to struggle and Baj gets hot again (which he may just be doing) then he may be the answer. I would be surprised to see Santiago or Duncan get the call, but you never know. dasox24
Schnur no hits. What a f***in loser! This guy needs to give it up... Young had a s***ty game last night, 0-4 w/ 3 k's...
Chisoxfn
Tough for Schnur's streak to come to an end. Hopefully he goes right back out and starts a new streak!!!!

MnSoxFan
Young was on fire, then they moved him up in the order and he died. Keep him down in the order for the season, let him gain his confidence. He sure was going well before he hit this latest streak.
bmags
a new jose to root for... de los santos is straight raking it (of course its in rook ball, but hey, i'd rather have a guy rake it than not)
Wedge
Diaz had a good game, going 7 innings and giving up 3 ER. I keep thinking that Diaz is going to turn out alright in the Majors next year.
SoxAce
Sweeney was 2-3 and scored 2 runs. Look out for Sweeney. Average now up to .
Cerbaho-WG
Through 26 games, Jose De Los Santos has managed a very impressive stat: his OBP is lower than his BA. Just think for a second....there you go. 26 games, 1 BB. He'll get eaten alive if that continues.
Heads22
Wilson Valdez has 2 walks in nearly 30 games....nearly as bad...
Jordan4life_2007
Sweeney is on a fricken tear. His average has gone up like 30 points in the last 3 weeks.
DBAHO
Little piece on Man Hands from BA, The White Sox promoted righthander Jeff Bajenaru to Triple-A Charlotte to replace Gary Majewski as the closer. Majewski was sent to the Expos in the Carl Everett trade. Bajenaru, a former two-way All-American at Oklahoma, was 2-0, 1.34 with 12 saves at Double-A Birmingham before the promotion, with 51 strikeouts and just 11 walks allowed in 34 innings. He picked up the save against Indianapolis last night with a scoreless inning, allowing one hit.

MnSoxFan
Isnt that impossible Nope, you have to add in sacrifice flies etc.... as a time at bat and that changes the OBP vs the batting average.
danman31
Isnt that impossible Yeah I think the point was to exaggerate his statement.
