The Beast
Finally, I got what I wanted. A .300 hitting centerfielder in Aaron Rowand and a career high .273 hitter in Willie Harris. The last time I talked of these two I called them pieces of s***, because they weren't were I thought they could be, I knew they coud do it. Now Rowand is hitting .307 and has already 122 TB's this year, already 3 more than his previous high in '02. All I wanted out of Harris was a .250 average and to improve his swing at the place. I couldn't stand seeing him underacheiving at .204 last year. But he has improved not only on this matter of hitting, but also his baserunning too, having already 10 stolen bases compared to last years 12, thanks to Ozzie Guillen. I now repeal all statements about Rowand and Harris.
SoxAce
Willie should have had about 20 by now (really 30+ but he hasn't played to much until now) He has been a great surprise. (I'm a big Willie fan) And I've said it sooo many times. Aaron Rowand is a friggin stud. Ozzie has to PLAY HIM MORE. IMO, they should see Rowand as one of their future cornerstone outfielders since Reed got traded (more so than Joe B.)

At the time I commented on them they were at a point to either ruin themselves or build on. And what happened? They built on.
Kalapse
Someday Aaron Rowand will be a star.
WilliamTell
I hope Rowand doesn't lose playing time with this Everett trade. I don't see it happening right now. However, I could see it happening if Thomas comes back.
whitesoxin'
Aaron Rowand could easily have an average around .330 right now. He seems to hit the ball hard everytime he bats. Tonight for example, Deluchi (sp?) robbed him of an extra base hit. I am a big fan of A Row.
