Wong & Owens
This series has me verrrrrrry worried. Although we are on the road, what does it say if we can't beat a young team that's under .500 when we have our 2 best pitchers going? It's not about numbers--obviously being 2.5 games back isnt the end of the world. It's more of a statement that needs to be made.
greasywheels121
I FINALLY get to see a game. The last game I saw was before the break, wow. Let's salvage the end of this road trip guys!

WHarris1
Need Buehrle to step it up big time. Also need to be patient against Lee, and play some small ball... Let's GO SOX!

Burke c I like that lineup. I think Rowand is our best leadoff hitter at this point in time. Uribe batting eighth, hopefully he can break out of his slump. Rowand44
I like that lineup. I think Rowand is our best leadoff hitter at this point in time. Uribe batting eighth, hopefully he can break out of his slump. Against a lefty I'd like to see Pauly and Carl switched but maybe ozzie is doing this because pauly is in a slump, otherwise looks good to me. southsider2k5
Good piece of hitting by Los. 1-0 Sox runners on 2nd and 3rd with only one out. Jurrasic is up.
southsider2k5
Gerut made a great diving effort but it popped out of his mitt at the last second. maggs scores, Los to 3rd and Carl gets a single. 2-0 Sox, still only one out.

Watching the replay, Gerut actually overdived the play by a few inches and it hit his mitt in the palm, thats why the ball popped out. Hell of a play to get to the ball though. southsider2k5
Nice play by Crisp to prevent a gapper, but Carlos tags and scores and it is 3-0 White Sox with two outs in the top of the 1st. Indians are throwing some leather early, and the Sox are really hitting the ball HARD against Cliff Lee. This could easily have been a blowout early. southsider2k5
Joe starting off strong again........ Bad way to end it, but it was a nice AB. He saw 7 or 8 pitches. Most importantly Sox lead 3-0 after a half inning of play.

WHarris1
When Joe comes up it's almost like a sure out. I have 0 hope for this guy, so at least he doesn't diaspoint anymore.

southsider2k5
29 pitch first inning by Cliff Lee. That could be the most important stat of all. Get his ass out of there, and kick the crap out of that piss-pour excuse of an Indians bullpen.

WHarris1
Whenever me and my dad are together and Oz is on TV or radio we do an over/under on how many times he will say "Ill tell you what.." We do the exact same thing in my house. "I tell you wha...we throw da ball reel well." "I tell you wha...we swing da bats reel well.
