Cali
Anybody else gonna watch this show tonight on FX? I've been looking forward to it for a while since I'm a big Denis Leary fan. It's the same creative team from another favorite TV that was cancelled "The Job". It's been getting a lot of great reviews and FX seems to be the cool network that produces edgy shows with critical acclaim (The Shield, Nip/Tuck) For those who don't know anything about the show, go here: Rescue Me

MinnesotaSoxFan
After watching the premire, I enjoy it and upcoming episodes. Plus I tallied the word pussy. They said it 9 times! I haven't seen any other show say pussy that much. The only parts I didn't like is with the dead people. It was a little off, but can't wait for Wednesday! Cali
I thought it was great. After one episode I can already tell they have the mixture of comedy and drama down pat. The drama is out there and the humor shifts from quick and subtle to as blatent as the drama (i.e. When Denis Leary goes and looks through the new boyfriends car) It also had some pretty good lines like: "My balls are bigger than two of your heads duct taped together"
Chisoxfn
Thank god FX was replaying it for Hawaii or whatever...that was a really good show. I'm looking forward to this. I already love the Shield (gotta be the best show on TV, minus the Sopranos) and this first episode was good. Plus Nip Tuck is good too. I also liked Lucky, although I guess not that many other people did.
Fotop
Damnit Jason, I'm following you around. And damn you for having the same interests as me. Lucky was a good show...I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Chisoxfn
Haha, if it helps I'm also a Notre Dame fan A few of my buddies also liked Lucky...so with you included, now I know they just screwed up and got rid of a good show. Then again, I actually enjoyed Tru Calling and I'm sure that show is going to get cancelled. What can I say, Elisha Dusku is HOT.

Fotop
Dude, I've seen Eliza Dushku in PERSON. I was at a filming for Conan O'Brien (great times, Conan is hilarious) and she's even hotter in person. She had this pink skirt on...ok that's enough but you get my drift she's def. a knockout.

Cali
RESCUE ME (FX) - A more than solid 4.1 million viewers watched the show's commercial-free launch on Wednesday, making its the second-best series opener in the cable channel's history ("The Shield's" 4.8 million viewer debut in 2002 being the best). "Rescue," along with the theatrical "Independence Day" (2.4 million overall, 1.4 million among adults 18-49), helped make FX the top cable draw on the night. More importantly, "Rescue" also fared well among adults 18-49 (2.0 national rating/6 share, 2.5 million viewers), the third best opening in basic cable history in the demographic, as well as men 18-34 (2.2/7) and men 18-49 (2.1/6). An encore at 11:00/10:00c pulled in 1.5 million viewers overall. It was all because of me

Cali
Speaking of Family Guy, Seth McFarland is gonna be hosting Adult Swim this week and showing his favorite FG episodes. The little promo's they've run for him hosting have been hilarious.
