greasywheels121
Awesome awesome stuff! 27 up, 27 down...That's so sweet! What a game to see; it was the first Sox game I've been able to see since the break. It's the 17th game we've scored 10+ runs? Does anyone know our record in these games? Fotop
scoring 10+ runs? I'd have to say it's a pretty damn good record.

SouthsideTBone
I'd guess 16-1...only game I can remember us losing with 10 or more was against Montreal.
SouthsideTBone
15-2 is correct, I forgot about that Philly game...

Also lost 13-10 to the Phillies on June 9th... along with that 17-14 loss to the Expos on June 19th.

elrockinMT
One for each scoreless inning!!! Maybe the best game I have ever seen MB pitch. I wish I had seen it. It's the game that should have been on ESPN Wed Night rather than Texas and Anaheim.

BridgeportHeather
I hope Mark Buehrle sends a very kind email to the All Star selection committee with a tape of this game attached. Buehrle is definitely our ace and is going to lead us to great things this October. How many times in MLB history has a pitcher faced the minimum 27 batter? Allsox
I heard on the pregame show that Matt Lawton thought the Indians were a better team than our White Sox....Hmmmm, 14 - 0 wipeout and his team only got two hits the whole night....Me thinks Lawton is just a loud mouth pud! :finger Way to go Mark and I hope this is the start of a nice long winning streak

Jordan4life_2007
I just hope we don't lay an egg tomorrow. We have a history of coming out the next day flat as f*** after puting up a ton of runs the night before.
BridgeportHeather
I just hope we don't lay an egg tomorrow. We have a history of coming out the next day flat as f*** after puting up a ton of runs the night before. I don't think that's going to happen. This is going to be the last time Minnesota's in first place. Once we get back into sole possession of first place again, we won't be relinquishing it anymore. That's the type of run I think this team is going to be getting on now that they are playing competition who is much weaker ON PAPER. The trick here now is to transfer what's on paper to the "win" column and distance ourselves from the rest of the division before the home stretch of the season. Yoda
Very nice performance by Mark Buehrle. If only Esteban, Jon, and Scho can do the same in every performance they give, than we’ll be the happiest team in MLB
