Right now I have some Field Of The Nephilim going. It's a bootleg show, and sounds REALLY good. Such a great atmosphere these guys had going. They are back together, kind of, but I am not expecting much.

Before that it was an obscure Italian Glam band named Miss Daisy. Nothing overly original, but the energy made up for it all. Fun band in the end.

Also on a kick of Drivin' N Cryin' as of late.

Now a plug:

DOOR NO. 2 for a GREAT band with one of the all-time great voices, Joe Blanton! Joe was the vocalist for a brilliant band from the late 80's early 90's named Royal Court Of China. Kind of a Glam/Southern/Biker band by ways of Punk. Joe has one of the greatest soul/bluesy voices going. He also seems to have found the Fountain of Youth as he looks younger now than he did in '89. They are a Florida band, so FlasoxxJim needs to keep an eye out.

No it's not. The style you're looking for is post-grunge, which is closely synonomous with utter crap.

Nu-metal is the fusion of rap and rock, more or less resulting in awful music.

Nu-Metal is the genre of music that is still chewing on the worn out jock of Faith No More.

Bumping old thread is cool. Finding new music is even coooooler.

I've been listening to a lot of:

65daysofstatic

Daft Punk (Human After All leaked, and holy balls it's amazing)

The Arcade Fire

Scissor Sisters (lol gay pop-rock = AWESOME)

Max Richter

Early entry for album of the year 2005, M83 - Before The Dawn Heals Us. I was thinking the new A Silver Mt. Zion might overtake it, but boy does it suck. Hey Efrim, you can't sing! Now please go back and get gy!be in studio and record albanian.

I'm in love with this little acoustic song by Erdmobel. It's in German though.

It's called "In Den Schuhen von Audrey Hepburn." I've translated most of it, still can't figure out what its about.

Is it about an unnatural obsession with Audrey Hepburn?

If so, you could record "In Den Schuhen von Bea Arthur".... :P
