danman31
We've been spacey on this board lately. We've missed or been late a lot on the game threads. I'm too lazy to post the box scores, but Gio pitched well (6 IP, 1 run, 7 K) while getting a tough luck loss. You can to go minorleaguebaseball.com or sportsnetwork.com and find the box scores there. dasox24
It seems like Wilson Valdez goes 2/5 every night. Yeah, I was thinking that too. lol Other thoughts on today's games: Nice to see Borch doing well and takin some walks in Charlotte... Hankins with another good night at the plate (2-4, 2 rbi)... Ulacia got roughed up for the first time in a while... Anderson just isn't missing a beat since getting called up, is he?... Sean Tracey had a bad outing, but he hasn't had many like that this year... It's good seeing Fields not k'ing in 2 straight games. It looks like he's getting used to High A pitching and wooden bats now... Ryan Rodgriguez had a good start, and Castro was great in relief... Young 0-2, but with 2 bb's... Nanita is doing great in Kanny and should probably get called back up to Winston-Salem soon if he keeps raking and Brice keeps struggling... Great start for Gio! I'm glad they finally let him go more than like 4 innings... De Los Santos and Castillo continue to hit, but Allen is really disappointing me with another 0-4 night for him. I'm not too worried however since he's probably never really used wooden bats much before and even rookie ball pitching is a big difference from high school pitching... Nachreiner finally has his first good outing of relief in about the last 2 weeks... Ryan McCarthy and Hansen are really starting to heat up now, which is great to see. Especially for McCarthy since he's only 19 still and has plenty of time. Hansen is 23, so this kind of performance should be expected from him. SoxAce
He's only walked 2 or 3 times though, so take that FWIW. Walks are low, yes. Doesn't mean he sucks though.
DBAHO
Walks are low, yes. Doesn't mean he sucks though. No it doesn't, but he's goin to hav trouble to get on base in the majors, because he won't be hitting .344 there.
SoxFanForever
Walks are low, yes. Doesn't mean he sucks though. Take Michael Young as a prime example of guys that don't walk a lot and have success.
Guest JimH
I thought you said you were too lazy to do them anyways. Personally, I love it when somebody posts the box scores vs. the links. Granted, it's easier for the reader . But it's appreciated, thanks.

I do it for the lazy link clickers, although I can understand the argument as to why some people don't like it.
Rowand44
I saw Ricks was playing shortstop, I thought he played 2b in college? Well I guess I was wrong.

MnSoxFan
Ugh, that's what I get for not posting the boxes myself. A longass page with few actual posts. *grumbles to self about long box scores created as posts* I knew I should have posted them last night as links as well, sigh. MnSoxFan
Actually, Allen was known to be a good wood bat hitter for a high school kid, surprised he is struggling, but he will be fine.
