Texsox
s***, they just keep rolling along. I feel a little better when I compare schedules, but this could be a fight all the way.

SAVVY18
Over the next month, they will go away. They are finally playing some teams over .500(Besides us and we know how that has went!).

IlliniKrush
They go away when we play up to full potential and widen the gap...not so much them going away as us pulling away, i guess.

DBAHO
They aren't going away, this race will go down to the final week of the season. Santana and Radke have been lights out lately, if they can keep pitching like that, and they acquire Benson, that's quite a rotation they've got. Texsox
What do you consider their weak spot? Confidence and knowing how to win seem like the intangibles that I have to give them the edge.

Lack of a real run producer in the middle of the lineup, the back end of their rotation ain't too grand either.

DBAHO
Outside of Nathan the bullpen is young and erratic. Joe Nathan's been a godsend to them, but the rest of their bullpen has been overworked, and it'll show in the next few months.

Yeah, Juan Rincon gave up the granny to Rocco yesterday, I wonder if he has been overworked because he has looked so good against us. SnB
The twins aren't going to go away.....they may slowly lose ground, but they'll still be relatively in it in september. You guys seem to think the twins have the '2003 white sox' mentality.....they don't, these are the twins, the little pesky b****es called the twins. Yoda
If I'm not mistaking, Buehrle, Garcia, and Loaiza will go against the Twinkies for the 26-

Yoda
If you're right, then it looks like we'll take 2 of 3! Loaiza........OUT! Well, a lot of people mention Buehrle, Garcia, and Loaiza our three Aces, which is pretty good. If Esteban can treat us to a good performance tonight, he better do the same in Minnesota. We swept the Twinkies last time (Buehrle, Garcia, Garland) so let’s do it again!
knightni
I bet KW will be gauging ELo and Garland vs Det and Minny before the trade deadline to see if he needs to make a move.
CWSGuy406
I bet KW will be gauging ELo and Garland vs Det and Minny before the trade deadline to see if he needs to make a move. Garland hasn't been the problem. Granted, his last start wasn't great, but he only gave up four runs, in what, six or seven IP? And, against the Rangers too - that's pretty good for your number 3/4. Loaiza really, really needs to go get those Tigers tonight - he cannot have a let down tonight.
AngelasDaddy0427
Exactly Garland has been all i've expected of him. I think some people have this unrealistic expectation of Jon where he has too be a 20 game winner and dominate every start.
moochpuppy
Lack of a real run producer in the middle of the lineup, the back end of their rotation ain't too grand either. If the Twins were to wise up and bench Dougie Baseball and Corey Koskie for the rest of the season and start Justin Morneau and Michael Cuddyear they will start producing more runs.
