CWSGuy406
Per Bruce Levine. Borchard Recalled. Not sure how long he'll be on... :headshake
SoxAce
Well at least we'll see Borch again.. But now there's life without Frank and Maggs.. :headshake

CWSGuy406
Kenny Williams press conference at 4:00. What's with both Chicago teams' training staffs? Absolute crap, this year, IMO. Maggs shouldn't have f***ing played if he wasn't 100-f***ing-percent. Give me a f***ing break - what the hell...

FlaSoxxJim
Not good at all. Really on the DL and not just day-to-day?? Ouch.

He was f***in rushed back and then rushed back to play the f***in field.
CWSGuy406
Sox could go after Larry Walker - but that would be the final 'Good bye' to Maggs, as Walker IIRC is signed through this year. I'd love to aquire Walker though - damn would that f***ing rock...
israel4ever
Well at least we'll see Borch again.. But now there's life without Frank and Maggs.. :headshake I think we are BONED without 35 and 30! KW...it's time to step up and make something happen!!!
SnB
If we did not get carl everett, my thoughts would be so much more negative, wow.

Just about everybody (not me) was screaming for him to be back way too early in my opinion (like before the Wrigly series) and it just seemed like an unnecessary rush if he wasn't 100% then. Apparently he still was not. Once again...
cwsox
life without Frank and Mags is not something I wanted to contemplate for about another decade

Yoda
This is f***ing ridiculous. I don’t know about you guys, but I didn’t like Borchard at all when he was in the starting lineup. Leave him as a warm bencher so Timo can have more playing time.
SoxAce
If we did not get carl everett, my thoughts would be so much more negative, wow. Exactly, it was a HUGE pickup. More than I think anyone can really see..
winninguglyin83
1. It's a good thing we picked up Everett 2. Let's hope Maggs isn't out for the year. 3. It was Maggs, not the team, who insisted he play RF. He complained about being the DH. 4. Herm Schneider is one of the best trainers in the game. Doctors from the Sox, As and Angels examined Maggs. It's nobody's fault. Just one of those things. 5. It's time for CREDE to start bringing the lumber. Borchard just has to contribute some. Crede has been around for a bit. He needs to do more. CWSGuy406
No wonder all the Delgado talks came out of nowhere. This does explain alot. But - if we did aquire Delgado - it would tell me that either Thomas or Maggs will be on the shelf for the rest of the season. Bruce Levine reporting that a high-official in the Sox organization has said four-to-six weeks of rest and rehab... f***ity f*** f***. hammerhead johnson
When Maggs first went down, people on the score were speculating that Maggs has a degenerative leg. I remember posting this on here & nobody responded.
3E8
I'd like to add also that picking up Delgado would be a terrible move.
