AssHatSoxFan
Rand Johnson throws an 8 inning shutout gem with 6 H and 14 Ks then the bullpen is going to blow it and just kill his record

witesoxfan
the last straw? Could be. I still don't think he's going to the Yanks though. He'll do his research and go somewhere where he has a very good shot at winning. I've heard he's said he wants to go to St. Louis or New York...those two being the only two teams who have clinched their divisions at this point, with the only thing being left to do is show up and play .500 ball the rest of the year...but New York doesn't have the players to get him, and neither does St. Louis. If that was the final straw, you have to look at Anaheim to get him...maybe try to sell the idea that they tried to get Benson from Pittsburgh, losing him to the Twins, but then they muscle up their offer to Arizona for RJ, and he goes there. If that doesn't happen...I don't know where he goes. I could see Texas, Atlanta, hell, even the White Sox...along with remaining in Arizona too. BridgeportHeather
I don't think Anaheim will get him, as Arizona wants more than Anaheim is willing to part with. Because their farm system looks to be really building up, Anaheim, I guess wants to keep them there for a bright future or something. With his last few outings, I really think Cotts' trade value has taken a serious plunge, so I don't think we're going to be able to go after him...unless Arizona gets too desperate at the deadline.
