southsider2k5
Seriously, that is f***ing pathetic. Not willing to take on anymore money? That's a load of bulls***. We've packed the stadium for what, the last month or so, and as long as we stay in contention, we're going to keep packing the park, and all we get is 'we're not gonna add more payroll'? Bulls***, man... Umm, hello Freddy Garcia? plus even before Garcia the payroll was 20% over last years. They have added a ton of payroll. Somewhere around 33% if the math in my head is correct. Soxbadger
Benson will be this years Suppan. He can suceed in the NL, but look at the averages of the 1-5 hitters against him. ESPN Stat He gets a break in the NL because the 6,7,8 hitters are weaker, and the 9th is the pitcher. Also with runners on base BA against is almost .290. Also after pitch 75, the BA against him is over .320, meaning that he rarely can go into even the 7th inning. Hes a good 5th starter in the AL, but if your rotation is going to depend on him, youll have a lot of problems. SB

JoshPR
Monday morning, 10:00 A.M. Boers and Bernstein said that George Offman said that he's heard that while the White Sox will not be spending big bucks with any trade pickup, the Sox are interested in obtaining Corey Lidle. Also said that Guardado turned down the chance to be traded to the Indians. Pass
hi8is
revisiting the RJ idea... if we get him that means we would have a 123 of the unit burly garcia for this year, and next year as well thats pretty crazy but, that also means that we lose out on garland and have s*** for a #4 and #5 starter next year wed also have to give up rowand or crede.... its a tough call
