greasywheels121
This is the only reason I don't hate Purdue football....Bernard Pollard. He went to my high school; this guy's seriously going to be playing pro. He's just a sophomore, and here's what he did in his freshman season. Named first team Freshman All-American by Collegefootballnews.com, second team by The Sporting News and honorable mention by Rivals.com … selected to Big Ten All-Freshman team by The Sporting News ... appeared in all 13 games, including starting the last 12 … ranked fifth on team with 66 tackles (42 solo, 24 assists), including 3.5 for loss, with one pass breakup and one fumble recovery … totaled season-high eight tackles (6 solo, 2 assists), including two for loss, in first start at Wake Forest on Sept. 13 … had seven tackles (2 solo, 5 assists) and pass breakup vs. Notre Dame on Sept. 27 ... equaled season high of eight tackles (4 solo, 4 assists) to go with fumble recovery at Wisconsin on Oct. 18 … had seven tackles (5 solo, 2 assists) vs. Iowa on Nov. 8 … recorded third eight-tackle game (5 solo, 3 assist) vs. Georgia in Capital One Bowl on Jan. 1. It's awesome though; he's on the flier for Purdue football season tickets. http://www.purdue.edu/athletics/facilities...tudent_2004.pdf

Super Bernard Rocking the Archer uni! (My former high school) And I came across this stat in his bio on Purdue's athletic website: 2004: Preseason No. 13-ranked strong safety in the nation by Phil Steele’s ... ranked No. 15 by The Sporting News.
