greasywheels121
I agree with cwsox 110% on this. I looked up at what thread was pinned, and I read it. I had to laugh out loud on this one. Best.Game.Thread.Title.Ever. Let's go Sox!!
BridgeportHeather
Since my fearless prediction for last night's game happened, I'm gonna try to go on a little roll now... Fearless prediction: The Sox will NOT get swept this series!
Queen Prawn
Best.Game.Thread.Title.Ever. I've seen other posters do this as well. Is the period after each word thing from a show or something?

Ha yeah I've seen it a couple of places in the entertainment world; I couldn't even tell you where though. I kind of forget.....
bjm676
Yeah, but with Loaiza pitching, I'm pretty scared. They got to Buehrle & Garcia.

IlliniKrush
Harris and Perez are batting 1-2 today, Score didn't say the rest of the lineup.

Yoda
Which ones? I’m not sure, but those kind of lines come from the Comic book store guy. BTW, we need you Esteban!!!

IlliniKrush
I'm not one to say "this is the game of the season" or this is a "make or break game", so i'm not because i don't believe it, but i'd say this is important from an Elo perspective. You just lost 2 straight to the Twins, in ugly fashion, in your own park. You aren't facing either of their top 2 pitchers today. You've been struggling the past month or so. You'd like to give the team/fans some confidence and avoid the sweep. If there's one game where he needs to dig deep to find something, it's this game. If he can't...well, not good
greasywheels121
I just noticed that this is Loaiza's bid at cracking the century mark in career wins; Krush is right, the timing could not be better to get that win.
southsider2k5
Here is an odd set of numbers from the Sox-Twins match ups this year The Sox lead the season series 7-5 at this point. In Chicago the Twins are 4-1 In Minneapolis the Sox are 6-1 home field advantage, my ass

POPPY_HIDALGO
Garcia pitched a hell of a game for the most part last night and it wasn't good enough. I can't see Loaiza bringing anything better than Garcia did last night. In fact his stuff will almost certainly be worse. Hopefully the Twins are tired after all those runs last night and the earlier start will catch up with them. The sox should be fired up hoping not to get swept. Hopefully the offense will come up huge and Loaiza will be a non factor. However, I don't see that happening without Frank or Ordonez. The Twins usually step it up against the Sox in the second half and I don't see the Sox team that will be taking the field today stepping it up. Twins--5 Sox--
