Nokona
Face it guys, LTP will never make it in the big leagues. I pray to god that I'm wrong here, but my gut tells me i'm right. The guy is a career 260 hitter in the minors. Sure he hits the ball real far, but thats when he hits it. When he doesnt, he strikes out. It's been his problem since day one. He swings at just about anything, which explains why he doesn't take walks. Hell, his entire mentality is not to fail. You can see it. He tries waaaaay too hard. Baseball isn't a game of success. We all know this. Apparently, Joe has yet to realize it. Unfortunately, this could be his downfall.

Hatchetman
I don't like his approach. He's way too tentative up there. The Sox and he need to realize that he's going to strike out 175+ times a year. Just let er rip. Look for mistakes on the inner half. If he could hit .240 and hit 25 homers and play a decent CF, he'd be worth giving a regular job. He reminds me of cory snyder when hrniak tried to alter his approach to hitting. Looked completely helpless.

qwerty
I agree borchard will do nothing, not many career .260 hitters in the minors succeed.
The Beast
I'm worried Borchard will never live up to his 5.1 Million dollar signing bonus that I think he owes stats in return.

The Critic
Sure he hits the ball real far, but thats when he hits it. When he doesnt, he strikes out. Just try to argue this point.....JUST TRY IT!!!!!
winninguglyin83
at this point, I don't think you'd get much value dealing Borchard so why not play him a bit and hope he figures it out

BobDylan
In a race, young players don't deserve chances unless they light it up from the get go, ala Miguel Cabrera.
Bighurt52235
I have no idea why Borchard (or Bro-Shard as the eSPN guys call him ) was even in the game in the ninth inning. Rowand pinch hit for Davis in the nine spot, and Borchard hit for Harris in the first spot. So send Rowand to centerfield and Burke in for Borchard in the leadoff spot. Who wouldn't rather have had (Roe-Wand.... ESPN ) in the game instead of Borchard?

Not just Uribe, but Harris and Perez were also playing over him. Perez is the only one who contributed.
