Queen Prawn
I was just taking a peek at his numbers and they weren't bad for what we thought we'd get. I have to admit that he's been a pleasant surprise at catcher (to me in any sense). Just curious what everyone else was thinking of him since Olivo's departure (or maybe even before)... CSF
Maybe it was just hope upon hope, but I was hoping in the 9th inning, he would step up and jack one deep to straight center, where Hunter would look like he would try to rob it, but watch as it goes off his glove. That would've been divine payback. B) Oh well; his single was pretty sweet though.
Wedge
If only Borchard hadn't hit into a DP... he may have been the hero today. And Davis hit the HR... both our catchers stepped up. Maybe Davis can actually get a multihit game for once?
traydragen
Yes I was thinking the same thing after the game..I was pissed but on there was a positive and that was our catcher position. Maybe Ben Davis is getting his bat back and Burke continues to impress me with his bat and his arm behind the plate...
Dick Allen
I keep waiting for the clock to strike midnight on Burke, but he keeps on performing.
Bighurt52235
I have been pleasantly surprised, he just keeps hitting. That throw he made to nail, I believe it was Guzman, today was just awesome.
WHarris1
I like Jamie. That was a nice hit in the 8th. He also gunned down Jones which was sweet.

Cali
I dont have the numbers and this could have also been Alomar or Davis instead, but it seems like Jaime has throw out a lot of runners... Keep it up JB
witesoxfan
JB has been a hell of a player for us. I have a feeling he will come up with something big for this team in the end. (of course, if you say that enough times, you'll undoubtedly be rewarded somewhere down the line with a great call, right? )
SoIL
I've been very impressed with Jaime Burke, hitting over .300 and gunning down baserunners. I also see Ben Davis has raised his batting average 50-60 point since coming over. If this continues and they both call a good game, I think we' re solid at catcher. Dan Pasqua's Rec Specs
Jamie is a solid ball player....He'll play hard for ya every night and thats all u can ask for
greg775
I'll give him props, also. Stats don't lie, and he's doing OK.
WilliamTell
With Davis going 1 for 3 or 1 for 4 it still raises his batting average. But I too would like to see a mult hit game. If he went 3 for 4 I bet it'd raise about 40 points.
mmmmmbeeer
No errors in 126 innings, caught 6 of 11 base stealers, and a .327AVG/.769OPS/8RBI in 55 ABs. Not too shabby for a guy that we all thought to be a career minor leaguer.
3E8
The double play on Monday with men on first and third, one out, kinda turned me off. But nobody's perfect and he's done well here.

3E8
I'll let that slide since he's leading the league in home runs.
