Wedge
It dosn't help to try and target one player for this teams failure. I don't think Jose is the problem in fact he actually is probably one of the better ones on the team. He may botch plays once in awhile, but who doesn't. Jose has also played some great defense and provided offense when we needed it. We are losing becasue the team hasn't picked each other up lately and not because of one guy. But Jose hasn't helped pick up the team... in fact, he's HURT the team and made the team try to pick him up...

Dick Allen
So your saying he's going to hit one now? Seriously though, there are 60 games left. Some of you guys are sounding like cub fans. If this was meant for me, no I don't think he's going to hit one now. But if you look, some of his "big" homeruns, basically made up for horrible plays in the field. So he was even, not the great clutch hitter many think he is. He sucks, and is really proving it the last 4 or 5 games.

MEANS
I am sick to death of tying the game/going ahead and then giving it back and then some. :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke yes, so am I. that really pisses me off. 3 groundouts, down we go again, inning over
Ndgt10
The lack of heart on this team really shows when we come out the next inning after a team has gotten runs and go 123.
elrockinMT
But Jose hasn't helped pick up the team... in fact, he's HURT the team and made the team try to pick him up... But that is what a TEAM is supposed to do when someone is slumping. This team has three hits tonight. THREE hits from 9 hitters. It is not just one guy ot coming through. That's my point. fathom
Anyone that compares Sox fans complaining that their season is over to Cubs fan is mistaken for one thing: as much as I hate to say it, the Cubs have the talent to remain in the race, while the Sox are now the team with the crippling injuries and the poor talent level. Look at the two lineups tonight, and tell me which one you think is better?

An occasional error is fine... but this has been ridiculously horrible lately.

The fact is he blew yesterday's game, which cost the Sox 2 games to Minnesota in the standings. He is also the reason they are trailing tonight. All his backers kiss his ass when he hits 3 homeruns in a 17-4 win. Look at how he's done during the biggest stretch of the season. He has 3 hits the last 10 games, all homeruns. How about shortening your stroke and trying to help the team win. He hasn't provided the offense when we needed it. He had no hits against the Twins last series. He defense may cost us 2 consecutive games. His baserunning, usually spectacular, has been brutal of late. He needs to sit down for a while. elrockinMT
What did Infante do? MLB Game Day says in play no out recorded and then shows a line out to Perez? Doesn't help one's attitude when we are losing and then your baseball feed is screwed up too.

Go back to games other players have blown. It happens. Big Hurt k's with the winning runs on base, Maggs is out with the tieing run on, Buerhle gives up a homer or three in a game, it happens. They will rebound, at least I hope so.

They're only like 2 games out of it, and they have played the toughest schedule in mlb so far this year.
