My wife went to Permian for 3 years and transferred to Odessa High her senior year. But I really don't pay attention to it too much, but I'm sure 15-20 years from now, I might. Fans know the names and tendencies of all the top HS players. McAllen High School's stadium seats 5,000 and it sells out. This picture is from a scrimmage, not even a game. One local radio station hires 26 stringers to cover all the Rio Grande Valley games. It is truly amazing. I think that's so cool. That's what I love about basketball here.
