He_Gawn
Someone needs to take charge like Frank and Magg's have done in the past and get this team fired up and ready to play. Ozzie can only do so much because he really can't play the game for them. Jose needs to go back to the old Jose who is a team leader and who gets a clutch hit when we need him to. Goldmember and I were talking last night about Carl Everett. I think he needs to go back to his old, (I dont give a s*** about anything because I am really good) Carl Everett form. He used to go estatic on some calls and wins they got at Texas and Boston. This team may actually need a bench clearing brawl.

southsider2k5
Not pumped and excited, relaxed. They are so riled up and stiff right now, they aren't having any fun. Until they realize that they can't be Maggs and Frank, they are going to look bad, because they are all trying too hard.
LosMediasBlancas
I think Ozzie and his staff need to get together and try to figure out what is was they were doing in March, April and May. If you recall, we saw good fundamentals, agressive but intelligent base running and solid defense. We're dealing with mostly the same group of guys. How are they suddenly unable to get it done? Something in the routine or preparation is not the same. I also agree they need to relax and react, no think so much. Let the things that they know about the game happen naturally, instead of pressing and trying to force them.

LosMediasBlancas
3EB, I'm referring to fundamentals, like bunting, baserunning mistakes and poor defense. I don't see how losing Maggs and Frank would have an influenece on those things in other players. At one point early in the season, the whole team was solid in those areas. Perfectly said, I have been saying this for the longest time but no one says anything, its like people are so stupid that they don't see it. We were going great early when Ozzie was determined to make this team what he wanted it but lately its been like hes been ignoring the situation. "Oh they are grown men, they made mistakes like everyone else" well tell their grown men asses they better play the game the way you want them to play it. I thought Ozzie was going to enforce playing small ball? What happened to that?
