fathom Posted July 31, 2004 Share Posted July 31, 2004 I'll go as far to say that Willie Harris is the worst regular to play for the White Sox in the last 10 years. He has an astonishing 3 extra base hits in his last 160 at bats. He's not a good baserunner, and his defense is nothing special. However, it's not a stretch to say that the hitting for both teams is comparable, with the Sox hitting being maybe one player deeper. I think he's been the best defensive infielder the Sox have had in a long time. His arm is incredibly accurate, and doesnt seem to boot any plays. BTW, how piss poor is Willie's arm? Basically, the offseason from last year is catching up to us. We didnt really sign more than 1 or 2 free agents after losing about 6 major league players. When we're winning it's "The Winning Ugly Sox are back." (an actual quote from Shuf on Apr. 25. Or how about "Viva Ozzieball! Print up the shirts now." (on Apr. 10) But as soon as we hit a skid it's "Sox suck." and "This current team is just as bad as the Royals." and my personal favorite "Season over." with 2 months of baseball left. This bandwagoning bulls*** is really irking the Hell out of me. If you think the season is over, Shuf and others then here's a hint: Don't watch the games.
