fathom Posted July 31, 2004 Share Posted July 31, 2004 As mentioned earlier, the Mets were interested in Loaiza. They ended up giving up Kazmir to get V. Zambrano. If the Mets offered this same deal for Loaiza, I hope to god that KW didn't turn it down. Loaiza is gone after this year anyways, and he's been a below average starter for a majority of this season.
