BobDylan
thanks for a good post The thing that has kept me going is that the Sox are beating themselves and not the other way around. This type of non-execution for two straight months would be downright ridiculous. IMO, it'd cost Guillen's job. It won't continue on like this. Look for the Sox to get back into this thing soon enough, folks.

Either guys get the job done or new players will be brought in, even if it means minor leaguers. Ozzie demands performance, much like us fans do. DBAHO
Thank You BobDylan, somebody finally posts something positive around here. We can't play any worse than we have right now, and we're still only 4 games back, and remember it's JULY NOT SEPTEMBER. Have faith ppl! In all honesty, last night was a perfect example why the SOS is not that important if your team is down 4 games and playing like s***. The Sox lose 2 in a row to the lowly Tigers and Minnesota gets beat - and the Sox lose a half game. The only way the SOS helps is if your team beats the easy teams. And right now the Sox couldn't beat the Rockford Peaches.

CubKilla
I love it when people depend on another team choking rather than on our team winning and taking care of it's own business. Maybe MIN will lose 15 in a row and we'll be able to win 4 of our next 15. BTW..... don't look now..... Cleveland is right on the White Sox's ass. LowerCaseRepublican
That tough schedule with minny is good for Cleveland, not us Quit whining. God f***ing damnit, if you're gonna be like this then stop coming here to just whine and piss and moan like a 4 year old who didn't get ice cream. It's infantile and getting really damn annoying. Go be an Indians fan then if you think they're so goddamned good. :fyou :dips*** And CK, I think there needs to be a combo of our team getting the job done on the field and Minnesota sucking more than a Hong Kong prostitute. We have a pretty big cupcake schedule with the Royals etc. coming up and Minnesota is facing a bunch of high caliber teams. It's not reliance, perse, but rather seeing it as a huge opportunity to come back in the division once the White Sox decide to unearth themselves from corpseball. Minnesota has had difficulty against .500 or better teams and as long as Borchard rides the pine, Valentin suddenly becomes able to hit offspeed and Lee & Crede begin to stop the uppercut swing horses*** we've got a shot at this division. The opportunity is there, the players just have to take it.
MEANS
nice post Dylan, the SOX need to relax and focus on playing good baseball (fundamental baseball!!) and everything will fall into place, if we can do that for the next 2 months, we should be fine, if we don't win the division, we'll have to tip our caps to minny. We can't worry about other teams schedules to help out of situation, we must play ball. it's that simple. Go SOX.

Minnesota has a tough tough schedule, and if we end up behind the twins, Minnesota definitely deserves it. We wont end up behind anybody, however, if we get back to keeping mistakes AWAY from our games. We execute, we win. Its been that way all season. Nothing changes. The biggest deficit we've had in this division before this sucky week was 3 games right in the middle of the first series vs. the flubs. Four days later we were back in first place, things can turn around quickly folks, so have faith this team will be back in first very soon. With only Sabathia performing as a solid starter? Lee hasn't been the same since we rocked him - and Westbrook is still unproven, though he has been solid this year. Plus - they have absolutely no one in their bullpen. It starts tonight - with a dominating performance from Buehrle, and our offense getting back on track vs. Maroth. It's Go time!
