kapkomet
Garcia gets the W tomorrow, book it. Then the Royals will awaken the sleeping bats... And then we scratch and claw back into the race. I won't say they'll win it, but they will start fighting back... again, these guys are pressing too hard. They need to just go play some baseball and get the monkey off the back. Ishmookie
anybody else? we need a hitter to win thats all i can say. its not over because we play minny 6 times, we have the 2nd easiest schedual and there's more than 1/3 of the season left. the royals are just what the dr. ordered. CWSGuy406
I'm still in it - I promised myself I would stay away from the Sox for a bit, but it's just too hard. Let's go get 'em tomorrow, Freddy!
BridgeportHeather
I will still watch the games that I can and follow the others, but I'm all but mailing it in for the season... And this comes from one of the biggest optimists in the world... I'm at loss of words... Go get me a gallon-sized container of ice cream, because I feel like binge eating tonight!!! ZoomSlowik
I'm still in. I'm always going to be a Sox fan, I don't care if they lose all 162. I still think they'll get back in it. We still have a decent rotation, which I think got a little better with Contreras(I have faith, mainly because he has much better stuff than Loaiza). I just hope the bats wake up a bit, I'm not sure how much faith I have in the current lineup(especially if Everett's injury is worse than we think). I gotta imagine we're going to lose every 1 run game for the rest of the year.

SouthPaw
I'm really frustrated with this team, but at the same time i know they are struggling because they are pressing themselves. Im still in it also
Soxy
Yeah, I've got hope. I figure at worst they can only let me down as hard as last year. Anyway, they're addictive, I just can't walk away from them. They're like crack to me.
Ishmookie
we need a hitter or were screwed we have two injured players who would definately put us over the top
EvilJester99
Sox need to avoid the sweep tomorrow and then get healthy on Royals pitching. Sox can still do it. Anyone know when Contreras is suppose to pitch?? I am interested in seeing how he does.
HighHeat45
we need a hitter or were screwed we have two injured players who would definately put us over the top We arent going to get a hitter, the deadline has passed and i doubt we will do any waiver moves. NUKE_CLEVELAND
sparked us to an 8 game winning streak! Let's go Sox! An 8 game winning streak is what it's gonna take to get us in this again. Bighurt52235
I'm in it. I'll be at every game of the next homestand, and I really f***ing hope they have it turned around by then. I think they will. (Why am I saying "they"?) I'm hoping for some f***ing exciting and meaningful games. It has nearly got me to giggles thinking about actually going to the park, but I hope the club is going to be hot. Jordan4life_2007
It's hard for me to believe a team with this type of talent "Yes, even without Frank and Maggs" doesn't go on atleast one big run during the season. I mean think of it. Even when we were playing well we never went on a big time 7, 8, or 9 game winning streak. I still think will sneak one in before the season is over. I just hope when we do, it's not too late.
3E8
It's not that bad, really. We still have 6 games left with the Twins everybody! Even if we are 3 games out the next time we see them, we can still take this division.

greasywheels121
I'm in....till the end my friends. Our Starting Pitching will keep us in games. Book it. They've kept us in every game of this losing streak....It's the offense that's hurting us right now.... Pretty crazy to think that the offense would be the team's biggest weakness at this point of the season....
