I am not confused in the least bit, I just don't see the whole point of this. Every team has flaws, and every team has strengths. Reesdi is looking past weaknesses it seems. The Cubs will be right handed completely. Good ole Corey Patterson is the only lefty who is a regular. Walker could play some too. They have too many two hitters and too many clean-up hitters. They have no relief and inconsistent and unhealthy starting pitching, but hell, they got Nomar so we should just give them the WS crown right now. If Beastly was shown no mercy during his 5 month suspension, the least our fine moderating team could do was with hold Brandos meager 30 day slap on the wrist. Don't look now but 'Frisco is already buckling. Padres are the only ones in the way right now, and the last time the teams met Cubs swept them in San Diedo. Without Wood or Prior making a start. Macias and Barret basically beat the Padre ass. When both teams are in full strenght, there is absolutely no question which team is superior. If you know a damn thing about baseball, anyway. As for division, Cubs were way too banged up (hell, Sox tank after Big Hurt can't get on base for them anymore - and you got near half the Cub squad down at various points) from the very beginning, and Cardinals got on a major streak where everything went right and half the players overachieved -- ala the 2000 Sox -- and never looked back. s*** happens. Especially in baseball. Fortunately, there's is always a WC - just ask Marlins and Angels. Now that Cubs are playing their best players, it would be very hard to stop them down the stretch. Just because we aren't running around talking about stuff out loud doesn't mean we aren't looking into this. Yes it was obvious that the posting styles were incredibly similar. But that alone isn't reason enough to take action against a poster. Until we had real proof that reesdi and Brando were the same person, we couldn't take action, just in case they were really different people. Well after a little work and research, I found the proof and the situation has been rectified. As for the comparision between posters suspensions... The 5 months suspension Beastly recieved wasn't his first disipline he recieved. I wasn't an admin during this time, so someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe it was his 3rd suspension. IIRC He also created a fake name to post under which is what really got him in trouble. Brando is going to receive his just deserts for doing the samething. And finally if you don't believe we are doing something when there is a problem, send one of us a PM or email. Sometimes we don't see everything, or we might not see it quick enough. Even if you don't like or feel comfortable with someone, send it to another one of us. Something will get done about it, even if it just to send you back a reply to explain what is going on. I realize they lost the best set-up man in baseball, and a great clubhouse leader, but they also gained another clubhouse leader plus a great bat (Finley), the perfect 'Moneyball' guy in Hee Seop Choi (high OBP, high OPS), and they gained not a number 5 starter, more like a number 2 in Penny. Penny has just dominated this year, IIRC, doesn't he have something like a 3.15 ERA? That's awesome, and he's going to a pitchers park at LA. Someone want to argue this?
