Tampa effin' Bay had a stretch where they won 14 out of 15 games, with only loss coming in the extra innings.

Dodgers went something like 15 of 17 at one point in July.

Cardinals, with their mediocre staff, somehow reeled off like gazzillion in a row..

Rangers had thheir big streak recently.

Giants did in June.

Only White Sox, the perennial loser-chokers that we are, can never put together a streak.

I love your optimism. I'm just worried about this offense. If we had Frank or Maggs, I would be 100% sure that will go on a run. Will see though.

the sox haven't really put together a good streak all year, so you think they'd have one in them.

of course, that's what i thought last year and the year before that and the year before that...

In order for us to get into a good winning streak we need our starting pitchers to give it all they have. Go deep into a game and keep the team in the game as well. And all of our 5 starting pitchers have done that, it’s just that our offense is lost at some moment and when it comes to a point where we do start hitting, we can’t get the base runner to home base.

  • Good starting pitching
  • Good bullpen
  • Good offense
  • Good intelligence

Oakland A's were 4.5 games behind Texas a week ago and are now 1.5 games ahead of them. With All-star Tim Hudson out and a not very good bullpen.

Anything is possible in baseball!

That really is amazing. The A's always have a monster 2nd half and win that division. Hopefully it's the Sox year to do the same thing.

If we want to win the division we have to be in first place by the time Aug is over.

The Aug schedule is brutal for the Twinkies (Anahiem, Oakland, Yankees)....we better get ground right now by sweeping the darn Royals ....we better not lose even one game to those guys right now

Reesdi just got BANNED. :huh

I checked his post history, and I dunno what he did.

Reesdi was Brando in disquise. I guess he's still got a suspension to serve. And coming on under a different name is against the rules. I wasn't even trying to get him in trouble. I just noticed him in the sportsbar jockin the Cubs and I called ihm out.
