Spiff
Red Sox and D-rays on ESPN at 7est. Just a heads up for anyone who missed that and wants to see him play, he's only 19 years old.

Good catch, Spiff. Looks like I'm going to need to change the SS on the all-minors list.

Rex Hudler
How many people have seen this kid play? At 19 years old is he ready? I saw him play once..... he had two hits. He didn't make any plays in the field that I recall, so it was really tough to get a good read on him. He has hit at every level, yet is still very erratic on defense, as many young shortstops are. The D-Rays are going nowhere, so why not let him learn at that level?
dasox24
Congrats to Upton on being call-up to the big leagues. Here's to hoping he does well.

Rowand44
They are gonna be insane with crawford, baldelli, gathright, and upton speed wise that. I love how they built that offense. That's going to be so damn fun to watch, I'll definitely watch this game tonight, I'm anxious to see this kid play. EDIT: Why the hell did I call him a kid, he's older then me. I'm turning into ozzie guillen.
CWSGuy406
Here's to hoping the D-Rays dominate. My favorite teams are now the Sox, and whoever plays the Twins/Angels/Rangers/BoSox!
Cali
They're putting no pressure on him tonight, he's batting 9th and DH'ing. That kind of sucks I wanted to see what he can do in the field.

Rowand44
1st major league at-bat.. groundsout to 2nd. Bust?
SoxAce
Bust? Isn't it obvious? He impressed me on how aggresive he was in that at-bat. Swung at the first 2 pitches he saw in the bigs, took a ball then hit one on the opposite side hard but right at second. But he's only 19 so everyone should give up on him.. danman31
He is quite skinny. It's hard to believe he is 19 and in the Majors. Edited August 3, 2004 by danman31
SoxAce
He draws the walk. Hopefully he can swipe a base.

WHarris1
He looks smooth when he runs and he can scoot. I wanna see this kid play short.
