3E8
Before the Sox faced Indians pitcher Cliff Lee on July 21, he was having a huge year and started to become a concern to all teams in the Central division. But on that fateful day in late July, the White Sox bats completely shell-shocked Lee and he still hasn't recovered. Before White Sox beat-down: 10-1 3.81 ERA After White Sox beat-down: 0-3 19.00 ERA That should help keep those pesky Indians off our backs for the remainder of the season. I mean, when a starter who was winning games at a rate of over 90% can't find his rythym anymore, that's a huge blow.

SoxAce
That’s what happens when you don’t wear your hat the right way. Why dont you do tell C.C Sabathia to get shelled then.. Cause I think your thinking of him then Lee. Hey if they wear a hat a certian way, I'll take the talent. (Crisp, Sabathia, Hunter, Jones etc..) It’s just that it seems like every player in that team wear their hats like they’re in the ghetto.

Wedge
Hell yeah he did, 5 innings and 7 earned runs. that's either good for us or bad for us. Good that CC is coming back to earth. Bad that maybe it's just that KC can actually put together some good games.

Well I picked him up on my fantasy team for that start against the Sox hoping that he would lose because I have had the worst luck with starters this year. I drafted Hudson, Zito, Andy Pettitte, Russ Ortiz, Sidney Ponson and Ben Sheets. Pettitte and Hudson on the DL, I dropped Ortiz and then he went on a winning streak, Ponson and Zito have not been good this year. I did however pick up Freddy Garcia when I dropped Russ Ortiz so that makes up for it.

How about this luck for me, picking Beltre and Carlos Guillen as backups and Carl Pavano with my 2nd to last pick.
AngelasDaddy0427
Nothing like getting inside a pitchers head like that. We need to get back into this race. Do you guys think that we can sweep KC?

Yes, but if not 2 out of three is fine as long as we win series we should be in good shape.
BuehrleTheAce
How about this luck for me, picking Beltre and Carlos Guillen as backups and Carl Pavano with my 2nd to last pick. How about THIS luck: I picked up Carlos Guillen as a free agent in BOTH of my leagues, and Pavano as a FA in one of the two, and Carpenter, Rogers, and Milton as FAs in the other I did however draft Mussina, Lowe, Rafael Soriano, and Garcia and dropped them all. I think my pickups were pretty good replacements. I'm pissed I dropped Garcia because I also have Buehrle in the same league and that would've been a sweet pair. Jordan4life_2007
I hardly think his slump had anything to do with what we did to him. Like somebody said, he's probably got a tired arm.

Well I have had better luck with hitters, I drafted Carlos Guillen and Mark Loretta late in my draft, someone dropped David Ortiz so I grabbed him and I got Pujols with my first pick but I also had Frank, Maggs and Troy Glaus. To think that I am in 4th place out of 8 isn't too bad
