Soxfan56
Can someone please give me Jon Adkins stats before and after July 1, his ERA, home runs allowed, etc. And if anyone knows his home runs allowed per nine innings, that'd be great. Soxfan56
Thank you very much. I had to prove a little something to my roommate.
Hatchetman
somehow his major league stats are about the same as he put up in the minors.
Hatchetman
maybe it's time to recalculate those numbers....
Old Socks
He might be pitching himself off the 2005 roster.
Guest JimH
He might be pitching himself off the 2005 roster. He'll certainly have to prove himself in spring training (again). Guillen likes him but his performance lately has not been good at all.
southsider2k5
So the question now becomes, has the AL figured out Adkins, or is he going through a dead arm?
Flash Tizzle
So the question now becomes, has the AL figured out Adkins, or is he going through a dead arm? I'll buy dead-arm. Last several outtings Adkins velocity has fell 3-4 mph off its usual mark of 94. While his breaking ball is sharp, John fails to throw it over the plate. It's almost like watching a clone of Cliff Politte on the mound. .
