SoxFanForever
LTP Maybe this will get the guy going finally. If I am right, that is the longest HR EVER at new Comiskey Park correct? Frank had the old record at 495, right? That sounds right. That was the number I was thinking too. Wish I had somewhere to check it.
bjm676
Tie Game. This may be similar to those games in June. I just have a feeling.

Though I know Eric Chavez was measured at over 500 ft.

jeremyb
Right over all the fans who spend the game riding his ass. You are aware of the fact that during the August Meltdown Sox lose a bunch of 1-2 run games, and that Borchard's 350 OPS heavily contributed to quite a few of them, effectively all but ending the season? It'll take a loooooot of 500-foot bombs for Borchard to redeem himself in the eyes of Sox fans. And rightfully so.

Though I'm pretty sure that I read the 495 thing while at a game this season... And I'm positive that Chavez had the longest of any player at USCF. I don't think JB's passed it. I could have swore that Franks was the longest.

Went to the post office and missed it, I'm sure it will be on ESPN multiple times.
The Critic
I just hope that Out Man's massive blast is more than just a happy accident, and maybe he can actually start to consistently look like he belongs. Whoops....Out Man goes down looking at Strike 3. "Straight ball, I hit very far.....Curveball, bats are scared...."
The Critic
Awful display of half-wit baseball. What a f***ed-up play. Lucky that the Sox got the benefit of the last f***up.
southsider2k5
Sox back within 6-5. One out runners on first and second for the master of the 3 run HR, hint, hint.
The Critic
Abreu gets him EASILY at home, and then the sacrifice fly to CF becomes the 3rd out instead. Ugly, ugly inning.

southsider2k5
Interesting to note... Even with Frank, Maggs, Pauly, and Carlos all out of the line up, and 4 guys in the .240s or under in the line up, every starter has a hit.
