2004 College Football Info Thread

Recommended Posts

We had 2 threads last year and it worked pretty well. So, here it goes...

This is the place to put information on college football, anything you want. Just don't say "my team rules, your team sucks, you're gonna lose, etc." We'll have another thread for that.

I'm so pumped for Northwestern's opener! :D

I am as well, however something has really put a damper on that. Loren Howard has had problems with his ankles. From all accounts he will miss at least the TCU game, but the people I know at NU have said he might redshirt and miss the whole year.

That's horrible news. I knew he was missing the opener, but anything more is very bad. :crying

How's he doing?  at the one Marlins board I post at I asked about him, but nobody paid attention with all of the Hurricane Frances talk going on.

Hes gonna make the team as a kick returner... he has been doing awesome at that and also has an 80 yard TD run in the preseason... He is a solid player

From they way his stats looked, he got lucky....like he averaged just over 2 yards on his other rushes that day.

Your correct, it is his only standout run at RB but you cant call it luck, thats not fair..

Other than that though his job is to be a KR and he has done that nicely

quit hatin on Iowa players you ISU fan!!!!!

Good choice...

If Rix pulls it together they got a shot at a National Title this year

Yeah, that's a huge if though. There's good Rix (last year against Florida), and then there's really bad, where-is-your-goddamn-brain-Rix (last year against Clemson). No more bad Rix, and they should be good to go. Lorenzo Booker and Ernie Sims will soon be household names.
