danman31
Holy crap at least Northwestern made it a game against this team. I'm feeling a lot better about the Cats after this one! Dayum...37-
Gene Honda Civic
Holy crap at least Northwestern made it a game against this team. I'm feeling a lot better about the Cats after this one! Dayum...37-0 They pissed down there legs in their first Real road game last season vs. a bad michigan state team too... It seems to be a characteristic. That being said ASU is exactly the type of team that will tear Iowa a new one. They've got an experienced QB and a high-powered passing attack... I am not looking forward to the purdue game... That being said, They will win in the metrodome knocking Minnesota out of the Rose Bowl in November.. And have a good shot at knocking off a weak Michigan team next week. The match-ups are just better... You're welcome Purdue.
danman31
Things currently look good for Purdue, but a lot of things can happen. The fun thing about the Big Ten this year is that any of the top 6 teams can beat each other and maybe even Northwestern, Penn St., or possibly Indiana could pull off an upset against those middle of the pack teams on a good day. Every team has a flaw. Ohio St. can't expect to get away with what they do and run the table, they aren't as good as they were 2 years ago. Michigan already lost to Notre Dame, who is barely a bowl team imo. Wisconsin barely beat Arizona. Purdue has defensive questions. Iowa got slaughtered by Arizona St. Minnesota always looks good going into Big Ten play and then sucks. As for the other 5 teams, well let's not go there. danman31
We never had to play them because we're in 8a but all we heard about was how good he was because our schools our so damn close. What hs you go to dan? Glenbrook North. 3 years ago we were undefeated going into the playoffs. In the 2nd round we hosted Buffalo Grove. We were up late, they got within 1 with a TD. They went for 2 with the game on the line, and f***ing made it. The following year we weren't near as good, but faced them again in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Again at our place. We got up 3-0 on the first drive (our FG kicker walked on at Indiana) and that was the end of that. Zbikowski was sick. He was a solid passer, but he was an awesome option QB. Him on the outside = TD. I still think he should have gone to Nebraska to run the option, but he wanted to go to Notre Dame because he was a life long fan. IlliniKrush
Only 42 points? I put my life savings on purdue -20.5...jk. But i will be truly shocked if they don't cover that easily. Orton for Heisman talk will be everywhere after this week. Our defense is just terrible.
Gene Honda Civic
I'd take Purdue V. the spread in a heartbeat, the only team in the Big Ten worse than Iowa at defending the pass is Illinois... Purdue's D is highly underrated too.

I'd agree with this for the most part, although the D is playing better than most expected, even against two crappy teams
