i f***ing knew it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wildcats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2000 all over agian!!!!!!!!!

Yeah excpet for the 2-3 record you're exactly right...

I was definitely torn watching this game -- I always root for the underdog, but with Iowa playing OSU in 2 weeks, I wanted OSU to come into IC undefeated with Iowa having 2 weeks to prepare like Northwestern did...

Oh well, NW helped provide the Hawks with some good game tape though. :cheers

Good to see this 'Cats team finally live up to their capabilities. Honestly though the only bad loss they had so far was the TCU game. Arizona St. is ranked and looks only to keep going up the rankings. It wasn't encouraging to get whooped by Minnesota, but they weren't going to win in the Twinkie Dome. A bowl game is still not out of the question for Northwestern (wins over Illinois, Penn St., Indiana, and Hawaii will make them eligible), but I did expect a winning record in the Big Ten (which I suppose still could happen).

What really surprised me is that Ohio St.'s defense was entirely owned. Everytime Basanez actually made a pass (as opposed to throwing it away, which happened 5 or so times) the WR was WIDE open. It's not rocket science, they aren't going deep. Ohio St. was giving bump and the WRs would just cut up the middle and the LBs were nowhere to be found. What's even more amazing is that they didn't adjust! After this loss and looking at the entire resume of OSU at the moment, I don't think they are a top 20 team. They needed a last second FG to beat Marshall at home, squeeked out a win at NC State, and now lost to Northwestern. Unless they make some adjustments they should find themselves in the 21-25 range by the end of the season. Then again they will probably get lucky in a couple close games and with a little bias from the voters go into their bowl game in the top 15.

Not that anyone else cares, but UNC/NC State was an amazing game. In front of alot of top 100 recruits, UNC was up 5 points with 12 seconds left and NC State had the ball on UNC's half yard line, even our announcer was resigned to losing this game. But then Khalief Mitchell, UNC's stud freshman DL, stepped up and hit TA McClendon in midair causing a fumble that UNC recovered and UNC won the game. Khalief will be a name most people know in the future, he has similar talents to Julius Peppers, he's 6'7 300 and runs a 4.7 40 with a 4.12 shuttle time.

UNC is now 3-3 with the losses coming to the 7th,8th, and 18th ranked teams in the nation. Get to face 11 Utah next week and #3 Miami the week after, yipee.

:puke :puke :puke KU is on TV for the 3rd time this year this saturday on fox at noon against OU

This should be the Adrian Peterson show, though the Jayhawks have one of the top 3 defenses and shut down Darren Sproles(57 yards)

My prediction

185 OU

10 KU

186 Ditka

Miami is getting beat 17-7 against Louisville at the Orange Bowl. Louisville has had a powder puff schedule up until now and has a powder puff schedule after tonight. In other words, if Louisville wins tonight, they should find their way into a BCS game.
