danman31
NU wins 20-17! You can now put Kansas' Big 12 North title chances to rest. Damn Illinois was losing to Western Michigan late before getting that go ahead TD. Now they have a first down, this would be a new low for the Illini. I didn't think they were this bad. danman31
Illinois held on for the win. No Big Ten team deserves a streak that bad.

Rowand44
LSU-Auburn is getting very interesting, LSU up 9 to 3 with 2:30 left, Auburn just completed a 4th down conversion and our inside LSU's 20.
Chisoxfn
Dan you should be happy, NU with a big win over Kansas who Shuf has been talking up. My Hawks go tonight and ND in an hour or so. Been watching football the whole day and its been great. Michigan got really lucky, they were definately outplayed in my book and it was at the big house. LSU's defense is playing good, but their offense is going to have to figure things out eventually if they want a shot to defend the national title. However, their defense can at least bide them time, even though they got lucky their first game. However as I type it, Auburn gets a td and takes a 10-9 lead. Chisoxfn
Holy s***...another botched extra point, I've never seen a luckier team then LSU when it comes to whiffed extra points. However, their is a flag on the play. Still 9-
Rowand44
Then got a touchdown. 9-9, an extra point gives Auburn the lead. But they missed the E.P. WOW!!! EDIT: Nevermind, flag on the play and Auburn makes this extra point.
Chisoxfn
What stupid idiots LSU is, they make a personal foul and Auburn gets to redo the extra point.

Chisoxfn
Well a minute to go and the redshirt freshman qb is going to have to do it again for LSU. They are at their own 30 or so and they just had a pass dropped that would of been about an eight yard gain and out of bounds. Now their are 46 seconds left. danman31
LSU is overrated. It was clear in the Oregon St. game. I don't mean to take anything away from OSU, but LSU is not a top 10 team. I said they shouldn't have been ranked highly after their opener, Auburn is supplying more proof.
Chisoxfn
College.Kickers.Suck. It sucks Setta is gone from ND. I can't wait, this is going to be the first ND game I've got to see all year, other then the final two minutes of that s***ty ass BYU game. Stupid ass traffic school cost me last weeks awesome game at Michigan. Hopefully they play good from the start this week against the Spartans. I said they shouldn't have been ranked highly after their opener, Auburn is supplying more proof. I also don't think Iowa is a top 12 team at this point. I really like Iowa's defense and I think they have a very good running back in Lewis (who did good against ISU in his first start after being suspended the first game of the year), but they have to work on their execution and what not. Todays game will be a real test for them in Tempe against the Sun Devils. 2nd and 10 now with 22 seconds left and LSU has two timeouts and they are on their own 47. Chisoxfn
Oh ya, for another overrated team at this point...Georgia. Another one of those good defefensive teams that is going to get bit in the ass if they can't figure out a way to improve on offense.

Chisoxfn
Game Over LSU's QB makes a good pass and LSU's receiver drops it and it goes into the hands of Auburns DB for an interception. If the receiver holds onto the ball they are in field goal range. However...flag on the play, but probably celebration.
Chisoxfn
God that was piece of s*** receiving on that final drive. Two mega easy catches were dropped and it cost them the game. LSU will take a big time hit in the polls.
Rowand44
Anyways, did anyone spend the whole day watching college football like I did? I'm going to do the same thing tomorrow, except I'm going over to a friends to watch all the games but all in all a very lazy weekend.

Yep, it was nice cause the past few weekends I'd had almost no time to watch football. Tomorrow Bears game in the morning at the bar...then football at a friends while I do some homework as well. Heads22
ISU now has 2 weeks to prepare for Okie State in Stillwater. But my God, for anyone who watched today's game, do you agree that Flynn should be the full-time QB?

But my God, for anyone who watched today's game, do you agree that Flynn should be the full-time QB? I agreed with you on Flynn since last year when I saw him play against Iowa. The results weren't pretty, but you could see he was talented despite being young (I think a freshman at the time). I remember telling you I thought ISU had some pretty good young players that could help build their program back up.
